Thanks for this post. Much needed one.

With two or more jodis in a show, the fan fights become almost unavoidable. A post that criticize(not bash) an actor's acting, with whatever good intentions, will always be taken as offensive by the actor's fangroup. This goes for all the fan groups in this forum, because most of the times, the intention was to bash rather than criticize. Hence even the genuine criticism is considered bashing.

So, I think its best for everyone, if such posts are closed immediately without any consideration.

And as for the mods, sometimes,even I was made to think you guys are biased since Nia's bashing posts took a long time to get closed. Sorry for that. But now I understand the time constraints for you people.

But, still whats the point of closing a bashing post after it crosses 7 or 8 pages or sometimes even more than that, with all the bad intentions, with which the post was made, were fulfilled 😕

Thats my only point of concern. So I would still request you to do something abt closing bashing posts sooner.

what's with cinevistaas shows and IF turning into a battle ground! Not bashing just an observation!

I think the PH has done a great job coz it has shown the two forms of marriage that exist-love and arranged! Not just that it has added distinct layers to each of it's 4 characters to make them as hatke as possible! As individuals all of us relate to a certain type! Some of us like the namkeen nok jhok..Some like the sweet nothings exchanged! It's an individual choice!

I for one love everyone equally-the main and the supporting cast! They complete EHMMBH!

All I can say is if you want others to respect your opinion you should respect theirs too! Sometimes it makes us a better person when we stay silent! (not preaching...just saying)

And at the end of the day we are here coz we love the show...for whatever reason..so the least we can do is make the forum a happy place for everyone who loves the show!

I have stopped opening topics...pata nahin kab joote chappal pad jaayein! kidding guys

hope the forum returns to like it was before

The major problem here is that people on IF are super active on Facebook. Some members here may not make rude comments on IF, but end up doin open bashing on FB...nd in the process, intentionally or unintentionally bring it to IF! ( I dont think much can be done on that from ur side!)

The reason why this forum has become a warzone is soleley coz there is hardly any neutral viewers. every viewer belongs to a particular fangroup, and hence as with every fangroup, it hurts to see ur favs being bashed. Few people have a high tolerance level, and few dont.

Everyone here follows the policy, Eeth ka jawaab patthar se! (Me too..sorry!)

If members really feel that a post is bashing ur fav actor, JUST DONT COMMENT. the post will automatically get lost in the million other posts. BUT people reply to every bashing post and make it run for 10-11 pages. THE topic maker doesn't even bother to cum back nd reply! ( TO those who are reading this comment...and pointing ur finger to me...nd saying u too did that...yes i did!)

Creations gallery has the worst instigating remarks. I guess..more than direct bashing comments, sarcastic remarks are more pathetic. One person does it...nd then the rest follow...its obvious...the rest are not Mahatmas...!

Will be very direct, THIS issue can never be sorted. If members can bash actors on A facebook groups, where even their favs actors are active nd not bother of what THE actors who work hard will think, IF is nothing.

As many rules or as many suggestions, VIRIKA vs VIRMAN vs JEEMAN will exist till this forum is OPEN!

In the end...I am all YES for closing any topic (even if it is a gud discussion!) that can lead to bashing.

ANd yes...please make Creation gallery a no comment gallery. PLEASE!

My question to mods! Does comparing roka and basically indirectly bashing the actors due to their clothes or apparent unsophisticated roka count as bashing? Even if its done in an apparent indirect manner? Its just ironic that those who are here commenting about not bashing, are basically the exact people who do it,(not all of course) and then make an innocent post stating otheriwse!If you are insecure about your favourites, tough luck, but dnt go around bashing others just to make ur fav stand out, because trust me, it only highlights one's insecurities!Anyways, i believe instead of being too lenient, stricter actions ought to be taken, if one was to make this forum a better place!...For example there is a particular member, who basically bashes, goes on vacation comes back and bashes again! And yet she is still roaming around the forum, despite her rude remarks, and bashing of actors!

I do not visit the creation gallery therefore am not going to comment on those, my comments are all about what i see on the main page!!

Disclaimer! Those are points that have been striking me the most and therefore i mentioned it! I do not intend to be rude nor offend anyone!!...

So, reading through all the posts, the general consensus seems to be the following:

1. CG is a problem and making it no comments would be the best way to fix the problem

2. Close all topics that have any hints of comparison (not just by the TM, but members later on in the topic discussion as well)?

As far as quick responses by DT to issues go, we will continue to try out best. I mean fairy and I are in the US and will be sleeping during India day time and that will never change... I don't believe any more DT will be added to the forum, but I will see what I can do.

Finally, just a disclaimer and caution to those who may be reading silently and not expressing opinions, let us know what you think because once these rules go in to effect, no one will have any room to blame the DT for being too strict as you guys have come up with them and we have everyone a chance to say their piece! 😃

Anything I missed? Sorry if I did, I am a bit sleep-deprived recently 😆

Having particular choices is natural But sometimes It gets more than it should be..I dont know about CG, so can't say

But rest of your points...I agree with them. Just one thing as predator also pointed is that mostly unwanted posts r by newbies...I dont know if u can do sth for that...but that's a fact

PS - I really appreciate efforts of mods..I mean despite bein in a different timezone, they r Doin so much. Get the fact in mind ppl that IF is not only work they have got...they too have a life. & same goes to our feelings for serials. I mean at the end of day it's just a Dailysoap meant for our entertainmemt...not to disturb our minds

& gunia...dude u cud do with some sleep. It goes on here
