There are flaws with Dev's characterisation - but in a dark revenge story, his character does give a positive light. I would blame the writers for not using the opportunity to make Dev more realistic, logical and useful to Durga. His back-story is dodgy to say the least (it took him 2 years to come back, got caught in visa problems, etc.). But this is a problem with the writing team, why blame the actor?

It is perfectly fine to point out that the actor's reactions were not intense enough, that he did not sell us the scene (Payal's story), etc. But criticism can be done in a more dignified way.

I understand criticising someone's acting abilities, but calling someone names like dheela is not right. I don't find it in good taste and I am just another viewer like you.

As for him not making appearances at parties etc, we don't know their schedules or their equations with one another, so I cannot comment on those issues.

Personally, I find Bhuvnesh Mann is doing a decent job, he does give positive vibes as Dev (not easy, given how poorly written his parts usually are).

thnx for the lovely reply👏.atleast some of u understood what i meant.i do feel that its more of the script problem than the actor.i've never seen bhuvnesh b4 in any of his shows but have watched ayub and sanjeeda.and i must say,if they had replaced dev,.many would have quit the show.and i hope he do confront durga on durga=nitya matter very soon and the show end on a happy note⭐️ .

He is new actor, but he surely does good job compared to. But honestly, he needs to improve in an emotional scenes. Otherwise, his acting quite all right.

this forum is meant to discuss abt EHT. u express ur views on the actor, and we will express ours!

If a character is portrayed as so dumb as to warrant comments of being brain-dead, then naturally sumthn is wrong with the writing..the creatives, if visiting the forum shud take tht as criticism from the viewers and work on it..they are selling us a product and we are not completely happy with it..making tht known on a public forum is not being rude..secondly, no one hurls abuse at the actor here..even wen sanjeeda/ayub/ vatsal or simone are either wooden or overact, there are comments on tht..if they are more frequent on bhuvnesh, its coz he is lacking..again, constructive criticism is very much part of the forum..again if the actor visits the forum he wud go back and work on his lack, not mope..
