Unfortunately yes it does. Durga had no plan to marry Shaurya. But she got thrown off balance and after knowing about Shaurya's attempt to kill Dev she said ab mujhe uss ghar mein jaana hoga. 🤢

I don't think it was Dev that spoiled the show, but he certainly is a weakness in Durga.

For me the most annoying thing is this wedding drama, and as if it's some sort of fight for Durga between Shaurya and Dev. I seriously didn't want to see that, it's so typical. I don't like the idea of Durga getting engaged with Shaurya, and if she actually gets married to him it'll be worse, I'm sure then it will all just become about her love story. 🥱

I used to like the interactions between Sakshi and Durga before, but now they seem like they're having some sort of petty squabble, it's actually become boring.

As for Dev I hoped he would be a help to Durga not create more problems for her, so that is annoying.

Ok let me take a minute and think... umm for Dev thats not required , perhaps the most clueless and irritating character ever.

Marriage track could still be understood as some sort of revenge game, if done right. It could have been a medium for some big defeat for Goenkas.

But worse is Dev- this character pulls the story down. How the heck can you be so dumb? Not only if he harming Durga's game but his silliness is pushing Payal and probably his mother in danger.

He just makes you pull your hair. His entry made Durga emotionally vulnerable.

A liability for Durga and for the serial.

Hence, a resounding Agree!!!

Hmmm...I disagree. Dev is not the only cause. I think the marriage drama is the biggest factor responsible for EHT losing that sheen.
And more than Dev himself, I think its how negatively Durga is reacting thanks to him is also partly responsible.

So all in all voted disagree though i kind of agree too.

dev just character created by cvs. not only character sketch n single reason is not responsible,beside this they r many reasons.cvs failed in presenting d drama n lost d plot.so cvs r to be blamed n responsible for it 😆

I replied to this point in previous page post.

Marriage drama was never Durga's plan. She did it only after she learnt of Shaurya trying to kill Dev. Dev is a catalyst for both love triangle drama earlier and now marriage drama.

Durga did this only to convince Shaurya that she was not interested in Dev so that he stopped targetting him. And to get inside Goenka house to learn plans firsthand.

durga ki love story dikhani thi to durga ka actual lover la ata

dev is not worth it

he was missing when payal nitya need them.

why concern after 2 yrs not once he made effort which led to truth

then why now

dev is weak once it comes to family in the past ,same can in present

did not know the truth but did he made an effort to stand along payal,

voice his opiion regarding them.

family is not wrong,payal is not wrong then what happened in the case

one has to be right

I disagree! We actually need a positive character in the show and Durga has to have weaknesses, Although she's a strong character but she's a human after all and humans have emotions. I like dev's character in the show :)

I am all for positive characters as long as they have brain. And if they are clear. You can't be giving benefit of doubt to your family yet harbour faith for one who accused them of crimes. And why doesn't he suspect his family despite being threatened by Shaurya? Two murder attempts happened to him after Shaurya threatened him. Yet he thinks kaun ho sakta hai when he is attacked or leaves the topic entirely.
