In those initial epis she was not thinkking about Dev. It was only after Dev's entry we come to know about that e-mail.

I didn't mean' mamta bhari maa' to defame the characters but somehow women in TV shows are somewhat like that. I understand what you mean by emotional vulnerability but that's not really possible in Durga's case. To her Payal should be her priority considering the poor girl needs lot of love and care which hardly can be achieved after marriage. This 'main dil ke hathoon majboor' is something I hate the most in Tv shows. I want Durga to be as strong as the character of Vidya Balan in Kahani. There were no loopholes in that thriller and this show, I am afraid is more about love than revenge.

Also, lets not compare the show with revenge over and over again. Its not really an adaptation. It just takes the basic theme i.e revenge. I am sure it was not about rape.

Nitya should be ashamed if her emotional loyalty lies with some aashiq than her sister who basically suffered due to panga and follies of her!

I can't believe a lover is more important than blood relation.

The day he entered i knew this will happen. I absolutely agree. Dev's entry onwards, the show has spiralled down... He is not as strong as aamir is viz-viz sanjeeda. Then the character is not strong and thus is absolutely unnecessary...

Agree.. There is no need for love story here, it is a story of revenge... Durga with Dayal could have easily handled all well with Akash's support...

Lets assume they wanted to show love story between Durga and Dev, even then, after Durga was convinced that Dev did not send that email to her, where he said he fully supports Goenkas.. She should have probably worked with Dev as a team to expose.. Dev should have known what Shaurya and Sakshi did.. without even getting them to know what Dev is upto... If Dev and Nitya did love each other, he has right to know what happned to Nitya..

There was absolutely no need of Durga getting married to Shaurya..

My views are different here.
I had no problem with dev's entry but writers spoiled the show by showing some stupid flashbacks of Nitya and dev.
Sorry to say but i didn't like it.
And so many blunders like..
Dev was saying 'Mein nitya ko apna U.S ka contact number nahiin de paya' and i was like..

Dude use tumhare U.S ka number pata nahiin tha par tumhe to uska number pata hoga na ? Or should i think that goenka's k driver k paas mobile phone nahin tha ?
Dev -" Mera email a/c kisine hack karke ye email bheja

Dude tumhara a/c hack hua tha nitya ka nahi 😆 Tumhare visa mein problem ho gaya tha but don't tell me that tumhare internet connection mein bhi problem ho gaya tha. Nitya sent him mail that means they were aware from each other's mail id but he never tried to contact her through mail.
How is that possible ?
And it's not only dev but Raima, Rajnath, shaurya, durga in short everyone had started irritating me with their same dialogues and repeated actions.

I agree not because of love interest for Durga (actually I love their chemistry)

but

because they have made him dumb. All the stupid mistakes he keeps making is nothing compared to the last one. He called himself Showmik to hide his identity but gave his real number which has caused the series of problems for Durga and Payal. The man may have left his brain in the flight to India

Dev till now has just been a nuisance factor to the storyline. He is only good at opening up all the cards.

His feelings for nitya

His friendship with 2 sisters

His fondness for Durga now

Disclosing the existence of payal to Sakshi

Creatives have not done any justice with dev's role uptill now. His presence in the serial is meaningless. No value addition done...

This is a revenge show so its not possible that its always durga winning, but they should also show what problems she faced while taking revenge from Goenka.. Like love interest, difficulties, plan not working..ect

So i think its the CV's who want dev character like this...as the story going far i think dev will support durga

Dev single handedly KILLED EHT:

- Dayal was made idiot, careless due to him.

- Several weeks were wasted in love triangle and jealousy. More time killed in his death attempt and zilch investigation of the same.

- Most illogical tracks and poorly explained character is his with only lockets or tilaks saving him.

- Durga's plans were hampered due to him. She was made seflish and weak due to him.

- Payal-Durga bonding was cut down after his entry.

- Pace became sluggish. Same flashbacks were repeated in each episode with no clue of past.

- Durga made last minute plan of marrying Shaurya due to him. To distract Shaurya from targetting him.

- Payal is in danger due to his carelessness.

-He is a hypocrite who goes after Durga but isn't man enough to go after Shaurya, his friends or Goenka seniors. Bigger hypocrite to save his friend Gautam but risk Payal's safety.

- Bhuvnesh is a one expression and monosyllabic, monotone actor. He might have improved but he is no patch on the rest of the cast. His pronunciation is also poor. He has no screen presence.

- Dev is a duffer who cannot notice his own mother's insult by Goenkas nor the threats they issue to him. No suspicion on them despite being attacked twice and despite Rajnath ducking all questions on investigation and trying to bury this matter.

- Dev never knows anything. Account hacked and misused? I have no idea. Attacked twice? No idea. Being chased and spied upon? I don't know. Isko kabhi kuch hosh hota hai kya?!

The weakest link in EHT. Biggest cliche also that good guy means dumb guy!
