So my question is are they so influential that they can stop this project anywhere in India?

I do believe they have influence in high places because they most probably supported
high ranking government officials with their money and hence have them under their obligation. We saw Rajnath talk to somebody ( I think an Ambassador ) to keep Dev in USA .And has used their power to keep News out of the papers like they did with Shaurya and his Fake degree. So yes, when so many in high influential places owes you something and you get return favours for giving support, these Goenka's have used their money to get what they want whenever they want it.It is a vicious circle of corruption. As they say ... "Absolute Power Corrupts... Absolutely"

Well they are in touch with ministers, politicians and even threaten media head honchos so yes they are powerful and influential and not just any other rich family.

In yesterday's episode Sakshi threatened that she won't let the cancer project take place in any city let alone Kolkata.
So my question is are they so influential that they can stop this project anywhere in India?
What do you guys think.

I think they are. If they are influential enough to have Divya Bagchi and her father killed without any serious investigation, the entire media present at every occasion, and every single witness except for one high and low testify on their behalf, I would pretty much say they are untouchable. Let's not forget Sakshi singlehandedly stopped Rayma's husband from cutting her off in the divorce simply by threatening him and slapping him, then finally walking in to the trial at the right time. 😃
