No, I didn't find Payal's rape scene artificial, actually I found it very hard to watch because of its realism. But then, again, it was from Durga's point of view and she was not there. I was expecting it to be a Shaurya's flashback to clear the situation once and for all (this is just my point of view, so, please, don't get angry at me again 😊)

Typical reality again!😆

Durga's flashback must be from versions given by Payal and Divya only. And who can believe versions of victim and eyewitness? 😲

Shaurya's flashback matters.(Though his present and past thoughts only have him pouncing on girls or undressing them but still we need more proof)

This is what happens in reality too. Victim and eye witness are doubted. Rapist version is asked for and he typically says it never happened or the girl herself threw herself at him just as Shaurya was faking the story to Durga. 🤢

Thanks for proving my topic right.👏

U hv rightly stated the harsh fact atominis ...this is the reality of the world ...i really wish we get a solution and wipe this entire sadism from this world and get a happy fearless place for girls to live in ...

again am fantacising too much i think ...or if i put it this way that we will certtainly find a way whn there is a strong genuine wish and need ...a wish to live in this world happily and fearlessly ...maintaning our self respect and self esteem .

STOPPING brutality against woman... be it verbal or physical is the utmost need of India today

Amazing post and I agree with you. I love the show and I hope they convey the right message and show punishment of Shaurya and his friends. In reality, a lot of cases are buried under money and power like this and what EHT is showing is brutal reality. and so are the characters. they are not unrealistic goody two shoes like usual soap characters. there's good and theres bad - the real grey characters and I can relate to it.
i dont mind if there's no lovestory in EHT and im so glad there's something different on tv like this and that too on SP. 👍🏼

I have wanted to post this from day one.
This is Ted Bundy

One of the most prolific serial killers, he lured women because he was good-looking and charming'.
I am quoting Wiki here
"Bundy was regarded as handsome and charismatic by his young female victims, traits he exploited to win their trust. He typically approached them in public places, feigning injury or disability, or impersonating an authority figure, before overpowering and assaulting them at more secluded locations. He sometimes revisited his secondary crime scenes for hours at a time, grooming and performing sexual acts with the decomposing corpses until putrefaction and destruction by wild animals made further interaction impossible. He decapitated at least 12 of his victims, and kept some of the severed heads in his apartment for a period of time as mementos. On a few occasions he simply broke into dwellings at night and bludgeoned his victims as they slept."

People need to stop thinking that a goodlooking man =hero, sometimes, the worst villains in history are the most good-looking.
Rapists come in all sizes and shapes and yes they can be that "oh so good-looking man you dream of" and rape apologists to me is as evil as a rapist.

It is amazing how people contradict themselves. On one hand they want real people and educational stuff on other hand they say it is just a show.
Recently in a village in India mother bludgeoned her 5 year old daughter's rapists. It has to happen when everyone is so corrupt and dismisses rape as joke.

In Zakhmi Aurat a lady police officer is gangraped but gets no justice. All witnesses are bought. Later she and other rape victims or their relatives get together, form a vigilante group and castrate all men who were rapists. When her act is exposed and there is bid to arrest her she and her comrades describe why they were compelled to do this.

Truth is that all are corrupt. There is rarely anyone good. Divya and Bagchi are only witnesses who did not bow to Goenkas and what happened? They got nearly wiped off.

Goenkas are most powerful family in Kolkata. They have clout like that Jessica Lall killer had in Delhi in real life. No one speaks against them. Case closed and killer free for decade till case is reopened again!

Such shows are reminder of what will happen if law becomes toy in hands of rich.

Phir toh zeher hi zeher ko katega!

@Catatonic-Cat

Thanks for posting this.😊

What a disgusting man! Rather beast!🤢

Should be a reminder to those who think looker can't rape or somehow feel sympathetic towards a rapist and murderer because he has looks!

It's sad to see people wanting Durya and Shaurya innocent just because both have chemistry. In which century and world are we living. Just because he is good looking and rich doesn't mean he can do anything with anyone. A criminal remains a criminal no matter how much he makes people wet. 😆 I am taking it as fun but when I think about it I just wonder how is it even possible. 😕

Wow, wow and wow! Super post :D
Was horrified to see some comments made in this forum. Liking shaurya for his looks, finding faults in Durga's character, disliking Dev when he is actually trying to do something good unlike his other family members, questioning Nandini and her decisions. As you said no wonder our politicians get away with similar comments.

Wow beautifully said! 👏 I guess this post was really needed and you have said it all in one. Some things and comments that are being made in this forum lately is ridiculous. People over here are not even understanding the concept of this show and are asking for love between a rapist and the sister of the victim. I get goosebumps even when I think about it. But you have made a great post and cleared it all out to those some.

Excellent post.

For days I was wondering if I should even come to this forum.

Don't get me wrong, most of the members are sensible and love the show for it's concept and not looking for romance or saas bahu drama in this show but some of the posts have bee very annoying.

I wonder why every show has to turn into romance and the kitchen politics. Is Indian audience's intelligence deduced to these two things only?

I don't live in India, but if this is the case then no wonder our country is so far behind.

I wish people would watch this show for its different concept without the romance or kitchen politics.
