Apologist and sympathising posts for Shaurya, his friends, Sakshi, suspicions on Suchitra and Dev, hoping that Dev would be real rapist, accusing Dayal of using Durga against Goenkas for personal agenda, alleging Payal is lying or acting like vegetable, calling Rajnath's cheapness funny, calling Shaurya a devilish charming womaniser (whatever that means!), labelling his checking out Raima in that farmhouse episode funny, calling his lusty and shikari like eyeing of Durga as some adaa, calling all viewers mentally sick who hate Shaurya for being a rapist, hoping Shaurya marries Payal or Durga or is innocent and Durga repents and tries to win him over...repeatedly denying all flashbacks and proofs and hoping Shaurya is innocent, making apologist threads for him every week and belittling heinous crimes like rape, announcing you quit as viewer of the show or hate the show because Shaurya is rapist...TOO MUCH!

It is funny and at the same time like reality of rape apologists when people claim they respect women and women's rights, condemn rape but this incident does not matter and who needs gyan?

There was sympathy thread for Mathur also. Relief that no thread has come up yet sympathising with Ganguly and bashing Durga, Sangeeta and Sagarika!

For some people the only twist and "mystery" of this show is still - that Shaurya is not the rapist!😲

Earlier I would ignore such comments and threads thinking maybe people are doing this because they cannot get over Vatsal's image from Just Mohabbat and are finding it tough to accept him as villain. But now that all flashback, self admission and proof are there and it has been time since this show started, still such posts seem unwarranted and shocking.

I agree with Shilpa and Sanket, such posts make one wonder if one should enter this forum or not.😕

Completely agree. It is appalling to see people living in denial after all the evidence against Shaurya. Even after Shaurya himself admitting to his crime so many times over. Its sad to see people forgetting everything that slimeball has done only because he is blessed with some good looks. Now I wouldn't be surprised if some people jump to Ness wadia's rescue and question Preity Zinta's character just because he is 'good looking'. Il

I just don't understand this obsession with the titillation of unreal fairy tale romance that is never allowed to get beyond coma inducing eye locks and dupatta pulling along with a determined resistance to engage with real life issues.

I just cannot understand the obsession with Shaurya - Durga romance that can lead people to deny the brutal rape of a girl. Life is truly stranger than fiction. Such views are not surprising given the kind of things some of our disgusting politicians have been mouthing off since 2012.

The rape victim is, for at least a third of the population, responsible for the crime. Most of the rest couldn't care less, they'd rather not deal with things that don't affect them . Those who care are in a minority, yet a brave one that has been protesting against the crimes against women for a long time.

Your hard hitting post is much needed. We need more of these.

I agree with every single word that you have said or rather written. People with this type of mentality are indifferent towards such disgusting and horrifying events and people who have fallen victims to such heinous crimes. They feel that if it hasn't happened to me then why should I care. People like that think that why should I stand up for someone who had gone through something's like this. Who knows, maybe their lying, maybe their faking it, or maybe etc. what gets me angry the most is that people blame the victi and never the criminal. Oh she wasnt covered properly, oh she was out with her friends, oh if her parents taught her some good values then none of this would have happened. All of this is coming from someone who is a high school student. I feel so angry when people say that the world has evolved so much over the past few years. Well sadly, nothing has changed. If the world really has evolved then why is it that women have to live a life full of fear? I think the main reason nothing has changed is because the world's silence on such topic has given sick people courage and confidence to carry out such disgusting acts.

I have been following EHT since the beginning and it deserves recognition all around the world. I feel like this show is conveying a valuable message that only sensible people will be able to understand.

Am gonna copy paste my post on another thread here..pls dnt mind..I totally get ur frustration and haved faced the same attitude in many forums on IF till now..people tend to romanticise everything, including murderers/molesters/mafia etc..as long as there is chemistry, all is well..I had mentioned it before also, we tend to look at all "bad boys" with the notion of "golden heart deep deep down".. tht is the downfall of most girlz in todays world..why shud television be any diff..and going by the mindset of people even on an international platform like IF, I dnt find it surprising to see random love tracks involving "bad boys" and the "good girls" reforming them..I stopped blaming the channels for their social po*n long back coz people tend to watch this nonsense and even create love stories out of them.. I remember a show which started as a farmers daughter vs a lecherous landlord which amazingly turned into the love story of the millennium..
