Like really ? the case went to the court where all the accused were brought in. she was yet traumatised to say the last guy isn't a rapist but a saviour?

Agreed. besides, Chanakhya had said that a thief is a thief, it doesn't matter how much the amount is. If a thief is let free without a trial orpunishment, he would grow into a bigger criminal in the times to come as it boosts his slf- confidence. Hence, criminals are to be punished.

Lol.. that ' not so bad' friend sticks to shaurya although he knows a family has been destroyed forever... how come anyone justify his actions ? It may be that he may confess his crime thus weakening the Goenkas. That would be enough good of him that can be believed.

Just assumptions yaar. I'm NOT saying this was what happened.
Edit:It could because of the bolded portion too. That is not less than a crime. And also I think he supported Shaurya in the court. May be because of the fear. I repeat, May be. And I know, that doesn't justify his silence.

Friends, I have not seen today's epi but I guess you are referring to the friend whose character Ravjeet Singh is playing in here.

Aah yes, I always thought that friend doesn't seem to enjoy all the betting as much as Shaurya and his other friends. It seems more likely he had let Payal escape from there on that day. It still doesn't justify him siding with Shaurya in the crime or for later lying in court. But I think there is a high chance that this friend will break away from the gang and might even go against them...
