Friends, I have not seen today's epi but I guess you are referring to the friend whose character Ravjeet Singh is playing in here.

Initially when it was not revealed that not just Shaurya but all the 4 had raped Payal, I had an idea that maybe this guy could end up with Payal later, but the revelation changed things for me.

We do know that every Ravan has a Vibheeshan too and maybe this is what this guy could be for Shaurya. And btw, we all are saying that he should have stopped Shauray then and now.

But let's get real, how many of us have had guts to defy that one headstrong bully boy in school? Or stopped any of our super mischievous and over-powering friend from doing something bad? Everyone else in the group agrees and we are then left with the option to either leave the job or go with them.

It would have been difficult for this guy to speak before the powerful Shaurya and he still has issues. I wouldn't mind seeing him assist Durga if he at all has not raped Payal

But if he did, I wish Durga takes his help and then does away with him. 😆

I am not sure how many of you have seen Rani Mukherjee starrer Mehendi, but those who have, I am referring to the scene where she shoots Arjun, who played a eunuch there!

I agree with you. Especially the part where how we all never really speak against the head bully ! I think it very easy to say so but when it really cpmes down to it, it's tough. I'm not siding with him. He deserves punishment for aiding and helping a criminal. But if he ha not raped her and helped her escape then yes it does make him better than his friends if only marginally. He is a coward, opportunistic jerk with loose morals but not quite in the same evil league of Shaurya and family!

My My My everyone reading this topic should please keep in mind its just someones opinion she is not saying its what happened...i however tend to agree with the topic maker, i work for the police in the UK and you would be surprised at how many witnesses come forward to the police months if not years after they have witnessed a sexual crime taking place for various reasons, females fear they will end up with the same fate, males fear they get the blame of someone elses misdoings etc...many a time i have seen and dealt with males who have witnessed such attacks but have been forced to turn a blind eye as they fear they get dragged down as well, innocent bystanders who are minutes if not seconds away from saving the victim but simply cant or dont have the will power to take that one step, media tarnish you if they ever get ahold of your name and if they know who were present at the scene at that time them you get tarred with the same brush im afraid, we also must remember these are the Goenkas that we are up against, the most powerful family in Kolkata if they could you to such extents to silence other witnesses maybe this particular mate did not open his mouth due to fear also remember these flashbacks are durgas flashbacks, not payals, if durga was not present at the time then how does she know exactly what has happened i hope Payal told her of course and thats how durga is putting the pieces together but trauma of such an incident can cause you to forget the little things as you are going through a much bigger pain, i feel for every rape victim dont get me wrong i deal with them every day and my heart breaks for them but the sad truth is they are sometimes not the only victims in such cases...so please lets keep the peace when discussing such sensitive matters, i hope no1 takes offence to my reply xxx

agree with u...and TM too...but for me crime is crime and specially in today's situation if woman keep quite or think someone is less guilty then we have to wait for any Durga or Zakhami aurat to take justice.

What I mean is, I think he let Payal go intentionally. He doesn't smile and laugh at Shaurya's crude jokes like the others do. I feel it will be revealed later (maybe much later) that he is not as bad as the others.

I understand what you mean and it could even be possible but was that enough? If he really wanted the best for Payal he should have had given her justice.. By that time what had to happen to had already happened

I do understand what the TM is trying to convey. But it is this fear that ..."What will people say" and I do not need to get involved or that ...I will be dragged in this mess
that stops people from speaking out and coming to some ones defence.

And many women even don't come forward to report these crimes for being dragged through muck and be degraded even more.

And these men who do these crimes for showing off their power because I do believe that Rape is a way to show their power over women count on the intimidation to keep them quiet. And the vicious cycle begins where these men get bolder and go on a spree of violence against women.

This show is showing that with good support and courage anyone can stand up against even a powerful family like the Goenka's to get justice.

And all involved in this crime are equally to be blamed for bribing and manipulating justice to save a rotten spoilt son and we see that by doing what his family did that he is getting more and more encouraged to go ahead and do what he does best...that is rape and his selfish need that makes him think...I can do as I please... without any fear.

Here's hoping that Durga will give strength to many to come forward and fight against injustice with dignity and courage.

Absolutely cannot agree more, it's the "what will people say" that keeps the fear in everyone the saddest part is that this mentality exsists in every culture ... I love this show for highlighting these issues it reminds me of why I joined the police in the first place ...
