Dev...the actor is - Page 4

Frankly speaking, I really liked this new entry Dev. He acts quite well. At times he is too mealy mouthed but then thats his character! A little intense! I feel he is not in the show just to put up a lovey dovey drama with Durga but to be a stepping stone in the destruction of Goenkas.

Its not his first show for sure. I have seen him before but cant really recall it.

I felt the actor was good and he suited the role. Everyone cannot be a Tom Cruise or a Brad Pitt 😳 who has a great body. He seems to be a reflection of his mother, a simple good hearted guy and he looks the part. I never felt for one moment he was bland. His character is not supposed to be all of looks and brawn. Its abt composure, dignity and righteousness. So I think he is fine. Neither was Jack great looking in Revenge (no offence to Jack fans here and this is purely my view) The best part of Jack was his good nature. As for Aiden his character was not necessary when Emily was already juggling between Daniel and Jack 😆

Also Vatsal is the lead of the show though he is the antagonist and when they have a strong female lead like Sanjeeda and an equally powerful actor like Simone pitted against her, they can't bring in a popular lead n also no popular actor will agree coz practically speaking the show's main focus is on Durga and Sakshi. Dev seems to be more of a supporting character even if he ends up with Durga.

Lets forget good looks and body! What about acting and screen presence? I am sorry but he's so meh. I don't think he was presented as a SIMPLE guy! He was portrayed as a strong, witty guy and pardon me but he fell flat in that scene! His expressions, dialogue delivery, voice modulation everything needs to be brushed up!

I hope you are right and and he will only be a SIDE character and because he does not have the ability to stand against the main actors.

I think ever since he was introduced he has only been killing time in the show. His background is hard to understand. Where the hell was he? Couldn't he come for sometime from abroad? Like others had pointed out did he not have cell phone and internet? Never heard news?

Why has he decided to come back only now?

His scenes have not made impact of now. Rather look like attempt to drag the show.

His entry was a poor copy of Dabangg!

I agree too, I mean its not like he's bad but when ashiw has such excellent actors and it's going so well I dont like screen space given to such a bland cactr because the character of dev has potential but I think he might drag the show down I hope he improves

It is not about body or hotness. Screen presence and acting matter. And this guy certainly lacks there. He looks almost expressionless in attempt to be serious.
