Dev...the actor is - Page 3

I think the main problem is all other actors are so strong that he looks even weaker .. I wish they got someone stronger and edgier to pair against Durga , may be who knows he will improve and we might get to like him

I know this story is not about good looks! But when you choose actors like Simone, Ayub, Saneeda and Vatsal, who have tremendous screen presence, then suddenly this dude does not really match the quality. He had a a scene of almost 5 minutes...but all his expressions are so blah... I am very disappointed. Even the hiacker had more screen presence in that particular sequence! 😆
Good actors along with good script make good shows.

I didn't think the CVs would go for a newcomer or someone as bland as him for such a important role.
Mind you I am not at all rooting for a romantic or hot couple. The character of Dev is very important, if it's anything like Aiden or Jack. He will probably be turning around a lot of things!

I still stand by my opinion that a good actor should have been chosen to play Dev Goenka.

Yes that's what I wanted to say. He will seem hell lot weaker in front of Saklshi, Ayub, Vatsal. But he's supposed to be giving them back and his lethargic screen presence is not gonna help.

I am also hoping that he will improve.

You are entitled to your opinion and have every right to not like the addition of this actor.

But for me I would give him a chance if he lets the story progress and has a logical

reason for his entry and has an added reason to help Durga get the Evil Goenka's

and as you say like the "Revenge" show, Dev turns out to help the story then I am fine with him and will give him a chance to get under the skin of this character.

One episode into the story it is hard to tell about his true talent.

He is just awful! Poor acting, boring character. He spoils the whole show. I don't really want Durga to be with Shaurya but I don't want to see him with Durga. Hope the team will change the concept and remove him from the show.

Agreed! Besides, I just don't want the love story. Why can't we get a Nolan? Why always a lover?
Why not a friend, companion with a platonic relationship?! Would have been more original.

I have liked Durga so far as a lone warrior! Donno what will happen once there will be love story.

I think the actor looks good. But his voice, dialogue delivery and screen presence are weak. He cannot stand in front of Durga.

I'm really liking devs character. Being this actors first show I'm watching he has made a good impression to at least me! But I just feel he needs a little bit more time to get adjusted to his character as in some phases his acting does seem weak but I'm sure he will get used to the rhythm within time. For now I'm impressed 😳

ya they might ve taken some good actor as dev r it's conscious choice by d ph r team whoever concern for selecting d actors with their own reasons 😕
