Sumo's decision to join PCT investors meeting was not made up until Preeta mentioned about it & young Shravan reminded her of how he would make her wait one day. Sumo's monologue goes something like 'Neither had I waited for Shravan then nor would I do now. You find 100 ways to trouble me, I'll figure out 1000 ways to escape those'. It sounded more of an ego act on Sumo's part than any interest in meeting PCT's investors. For a girl who has been dreaming & placing high hopes on wedding this was totally out of character. Why wouldn't she wait for few hours, when she wanted to make her marriage a successful one ? I wish there was some introspection on how frustrating & irritating it can get when you keep waiting for one & the other person doesn't acknowledge the fact & acts indifferently. But sad, it didn't happen that way. I would wait those few hours for Shravan to return because making a marriage successful doesn't happen by just having positive thoughts in my mind but having to put to practice as well. Also it doesn't become a successful one by merely one person's efforts, needs both individuals. When one is acting indifferent, other person needs to maintain sanity and shouldn't act more stupider, just to give a tit for tat.

It is a perfect discussion at this point of time..Sumo was in a confused state upon the behaviour and attitude Shravan was throwing at her despite being at her place with her family members. He managed to convince Nanu for his work which only he could do and hence he left. If that could be justified and understood why couldn't she leave? He just left her in the lurch, both at the court and then from TK. She had no idea when he was going to return. Preeta came then, disclosing the meeting info with investors and she knew this could be the only possible way to keep herself sane;engross herself in work instead of waiting for Shravan whose return couldn't really be guaranteed. Sure she could have informed Nanu and left and perhaps called Shravan but I can't really blame her for he didn't inform her before leaving as well. Both of them are playing their games with each other, tolerating each other for their families' sake. But I'm scared for Sumo..What if she is told to choose btw family and PCT?Will she have to give up PCT??

Of course I would have stayed back. Work is imp, but that doesn't mean family should be shoved into the backseat.

In my opinion, both Shravan and Suman in the show - both are still behaving so immaturely. They both need a lot of growing up ahead of them.

While Shravan needs to learn to respect women and see them as equals, Suman must also try and look beyond her walls of self respect.

If they keep on wearing their blindfolds for a few more months, I guess we'll have to watch them getting a divorce or at least a nasty separation track soon. I'm bloody hell sure of it! 💔

Now i am preety much clear what i should have done.. thanks to all your comments guys...
if i were in her place i would have gone for the meeting for the sake of my dreams , my employees and my company. BUT... only after informing everyone in the house and taking nanaji's permission .. maybe i wont inform shravan.. because he did not and also for what he did.. but i would inform all the elders and take their permission for sure.. that was very much needed.
Just because i respect my elders and its my duty to inform them no matter how important the work is.

She has to make shravan understand that PCT is her dream.. and cannot give it up because of ego and family pressure ...
Giving up PCT is not the solution but she will have to balance her family and work both..
Girls are capable of beautifully handling both .. my mother does so.. and any body can.. if she has the will to do so.
She will have to prove Ramnath wrong that carrer oriented women cannot give time to their family.

yup.. both will have to keep their egos and self respect aside..in a relationship sometimes we have to make compromises.

The cvs earlier showed that sumonhas promised herself to work and make this marriage success apart from that nanu also told her the importance of keeping ego aside and making the relationship success. Andmost important young shravan and adult sumo convo where sumo realises how she behaved badly with shravsn and always made him wait for hours...and that trait of sumo is deplorable...and now inspite of realising how much hurt she has caused him yet she says she is not gonna wait for him..this shows that sumo has no regard for shravan because she had the option of saying no to shravan's court marriage...the fact she signed the dotted line she then should consider the relationship...because sumo has the advantage of knowledge which shravan doesnot. Further why shravan is behaving so badly with her... sumo has not introspected even once and on both occasions ehen they tried to show her introspection i.e. after pct kaand and yesterday's her self thought that she is not gonna wait for any one... cvs have shown sorry to say a very selfish and egoist Sumo...and i personally don't like such people girl boy immaterial...it is not question of work...because the reason cvs showed sumo going

with preeta was not unavoidable imp work but after her self talk with young shravan her decision she is not going to wait for him..so she went with preeta only to be one up on shravan...relationships don't work this way...like when they were young shravan used to always bend to keep their friendship...so now sumo should take a leaf and leatn relationship can be nourished if a person compromises and is ready to see the bigger picture...this is my two cents...yesterday Sumo you disappointed me...

So given d serious situation n my entire life's project, i would have gone with her. Practically.

Heck i have seen ppl go for PhD interview in s morning of their marriage. My husband went to office the next day of our marriage, because there was an emergency n he only could handle it, in spite of his team being there.
According to d show, when Shravan can go out for an important work (according to them but actually he just went to pacify his dad) so can she. Rules cannot be different for a girl n a boy.

Honest opinion it is.

Good post. What about u?

thanks for showing the practical side of it... 😊
