No...i used it to just illustrate the point about where writing and viewer expectation due to preconceived notions on behaviour can clash.. I had a certain interpretation of the scene but when I added Red's perspective to my understanding, the scene made complete sense...When either Red writes the interpretation or I reproduce it here...Chick u will love it...I promise u..

I had not expected to connect Shravan's actions there...because I somehow felt more for her own plight. His reaction had been so devastating that she was not in a frame of mind to analyse what was going wrong with their relationship.

Yes she should have connected that especially since Aditya had said that Shravan had been reluctant to share something...Or she could have thought that Shravan finally let Aditya help her.

But he had been very clear about what had annoyed him...and she had concentrated on how her thinking had failed her. Aur main yahan soch rehi thi... By then the deed was done. She had accepted Aditya's help...If Shravan had not meant to help her, why did he release the papers in the first place? - A question only tedha Shravan can answer...because Suman can never think in his twisted way. 😉😆

The chhotti Sumo made an appearance to help her swallow the bitter pill...told her to stop living in the world of dreams...told her to be strong for herself, because Shravan made no sense to her...She had agreed to Aditya thinking it was Shravan's idea too. When it turned out it wasn't, she must have been flabbergasted. All she did had been to accept help because it came in the form of an acceptance of her capabilities- Aditya had drilled that into her mind. Who was Shravan if he couldn't see why she accepted Aditya's help, and went on to insult everything they had shared all these years.

@underlined...I found the messaging garbled on this in the narrative..which is why I say the double scene should have been made more impatful..Chick...I will come back after I get u Red's perspective on this...which we had discussed after the episode aired...

Suits Suman well from how I understand her. Because she had kind of hinted on this to Ramnath too...in relation to her self respect. She had asked him what she or anyone would be without their self respect.

But the I extends to beyond self respect. It also encompasses loving oneself...A lesson Shravan would have to teach Sumo, I hope.

U r right when u make that extension...when I say I did not buy that quote wholly becos Sumo is not a person who loves herself less. A person who has a strong sense of self is an ideal person to experience love. In relation to the quote, I wanted to differ...becos the I there meant a sense of self, which Sumo does have, esp in relation to Shravan. It is with others that she does the submerging...I hope Shravan is able to help her see that. ..her perceptions about relationships and their importance is garbled
