Its a given that she IS more forgiving than Shravan - but this massive breach of trust (intended or not) will be difficult to forget. how will shravan guarantee that he won;t flip again, in future?

also, given that shravan himself is not easy on the forgiving or the forgetting front - it should not be easy for him to seek forgiveness as well, right? considering he has been repeatedly blaming suman for how his life and character has turned out to be following a silly reaction of hers whilst a teenager.

It is clear that there will be an elaborate redemption track for shravan, but I am more interested in seeing how he will approach suman for forgiveness and how she reacts to this.

I have a feeling Suman will know before he even realises why he needs to discuss a matter he had considered insignificant...That is why he had carelessly said it in the first place...It had been just to spite Aditya- so he still does not realise he has 'wronged her...

On how Suman reacts...I am pretty sure she'd be upset first...But Love will find a way...😊

@Sanfan, Thank You for this post! You have really beautifully explained ONE of the landmines that the CV's avoided yesterday. However, with the way the story has proceeded the past couple of weeks, there are other potential landmines which the CVs may not be able to completely avoid.

Firstly, I am appalled that there are many who are of the opinion that it was Shravan's words that led Aditya to take such a drastic step. If ALL men started to have this " You slept with him, so you gotta sleep with me too, after all I am your betrothed" attitude, the world will be a lot worse for women than it already is. In my opinion, the very fact that Aditya tried to JUSTIFY his act, when Nirmala questioned him, trying to pin the blame on Shravan, is evidence enough of the ideas deep-rooted inside him: The idea that a woman is characterless if she is not a virgin before she gets married. Hence his words- "Why do you act so sanskaari, like you have not done it already, why not with me too". That said, you cannot take away the fact that Aditya's ideology is one that is deep-rooted in our society. And this same fact will lead to the other potential landmines that the CVs will have to try and avoid. How do they proceed from here? Do they stick to modern ideology that a woman has every right to choose whether she choses to have OR disclose any kind of past romantic relationship or not- thus showing Suman tell aditya that it was none of his business even if she had some kind of an affair with her bestie in the past- and then handle Shravan's betrayal of her trust and friendship ON HER OWN; or do they go with the age old thought process of a woman character related to her virginity and have suman feel that Shravan tarnished her "Character" by telling she slept with him before marriage. In this Scenario, WHAT exactly stems her rage would be the question. I am betting they go with the age old scenario; afterall- This in the end is a TRP Race, and very few shows have the guts to bring forth some modern maturity into their portrayal of such sensitive topics.

Have so much much more to speak on this topic, but time is an issue😆. Once again- Great post, and great discussion!

Thank U..

Yes landmines...and many of them to avoid...in my view (tho not necessary everyone views it like that 😆)

@bold...hmmm that is one way that would defi placate and please me as a viewer...no doubt!!

I would not conjecture presently on the second alternative...EDKV despite the many self-goals recently, will hopefully find some way out of this mess...
I wrote in the post...Sumo's reaction is the key...it holds the narrative together...I am pulled back to Redwine's post here of "The boy I cherished, the man I love"...Also, I just skimmed thru MonaCo's post on Chick's thread..compelling one...will reply there but paucity of time stops me..

Sorry have to be cryptic here...but have to rush...Will come back to post soon...

I have not read a lot of posts here too...My apologies...will try and revert soonish...

Thanks Chick for the link...U knew I will love that perspective...Isn't it strange Chick...U and I have had so many disagreements over the time we have "known" each other, esp IPK and now Aditya issue...however, u seem to know the thing that will connect us too...and somewhere I guess I know what u look for in a love story ( i call it a straightline thought process..tho I don't think like that!!😉)

and thank u for leading me to Indrani...I owe u for tat...😊

We didn't see that before because Shravan didn't seem to need her at all...He had been picking up a fight every other second..so she had to retaliate...

Believe me, when two people are truly in love, the 'I' part slowly stops existing...That is because each one knows the other one holds up the other over everything else...

There will come a time in Shraman relationship where Shravan will see Suman for who she actually is..Slowly he will start understanding the difference between self respect and ego...and he will stop holding back...He will also know what she meant by majboori of a ladki..

By then, Suman will also grow to realise Shravan needs her the most..more than his dad or his mom...

If she ever gets to know what he had done, it'd break her heart...and it'd break him further...and she would simply reach out to him in love...

This is my expectation from a love story...I hope I won't be disappointed.😊

On Aditya,

Exactly...Had there been no sweet words and intimacy, even Aditya would have left the matter..He was led to believe otherwise...that is what made him FEEL CHEATED by both of them...I feel the script has been pretty clear on this matter..will wait to see how Aditya is 'judged' further by the writers...😉

Like I said we have to agree to disagree😊 I'm cynical and jaded - my notions love are based on physics rather than chemistry; practical rather than romantic. But you are right, this is a serial and lets watch a love story that belongs in fairy tales and story books (note - I don't say TV shows! That's just convoluted!)

I wouldn't call it a love story otherwise...It'd be just a story. 😳

Love of ANY kind is like that Chick, not necessarily between a man and a woman - but between two friends, parent and a child. However, love is conditional - there are a set of rules - one of them being, thou shall not break the trust, respect - That love, trust and respect will walk hand in hand. If that condition is broken, I think that the essential fabric of love is broken. The only relationship that is immune to this rule is that of a mother and child. But these are my personal views. There was a time when I viewed the world with rose tinted glasses. But these days my power has increased and so has my wish to see things plainly and clearly. But perhaps, that is why I am a sucker for love stories on the tele (though, honestly, Indian TV almost broke my habit of looking for love on tele!)

Love is unconditional...If it is conditional, we should call it convenient.

I agree there are times when we have to take off our rose tinted glasses...but then if we don' stick around long enough through the thick and thin...we are not even giving love a chance.

That kind of love doesn't come easily...It takes a lot of effort...But I can assure you it is very rewarding..PROVIDED you are not stuck with the wrong person.
