We may all have flawed human beings for parents but if a mature brain and hyped up education ( aka Oxford Law School) have not been able to make any inroads that is then the fault of the individual not his parents.

Shravan did not put his lawyer brains to any use through the whole process. Pehle he did not want to get married and then when he did Nirmala/ Ramnath's condition and finally Adi were all obstacles in his path.

Still how hard is it to have a conversation /a text message or an email? But again this is a story and I will not apply logic to it😆

Indeed.

A grown up man is responsible..But Shravan seems to have remained a child...which is why Suman tells him many times...GROW UP, Shravan..

At some point in time he has to.😉..And then he will stop complaining like a child.

Absolutely true if we are talking of this in the real context.😆😆

Right at the start of the serial, I said that if this was a real story...rest assured there is no cure for the beta or beti (also) here except clinically...Love ain't cure anything..😉

But then it is reel that we are talking of...a premise...that the creator has built his/her story on!!
Also, this is why I feel the makers must restrict this to "creatively" believable premise...(i know that sounds oxymoronic) becos beyond a point, people will question the narrative...

chicksoup, sanfan - a very perceptive post👏 and well flushes out analysis, especially when the topics seem to always centre Shravan and Sumon

Thank U...😊

I find the last few episodes interesting for this reason alone...to take the narrative back to where it all germinated.
Nir and Ram, as a couple have illustrated the lesson..."sometimes love is not enough"

and we see their shades in Sumo and Shravan...or not?

That is what this story is also about...

I think in their destiny they are meant to be together but without free will...you will take longer to reach your destiny... I once absolutely loved a post by Amri ( i think she does not write here anymore) Titled Destiny and freewill, written during the first PCT fiasco...am feeling the resonance today...too

Shravan and Sumo have to demonstrate they have the freewill to reach out to reach other...that alone will determine whether they are EDKV!!

it was wonderful...
Nirmala realized how Shravan will hurt himself during the whole process

Exactly.

I feel Adi might have lost his mom very early in life...that is why he is so attached to Nirmala. And he is the orphan boy here...Shravan has both his parents...even if they are not together. Adi is going to be more possessive about Nirmala than he is ever going to be about ANY GIRL.

But tera beta mera beta in the minds of the parents...regarding the same child...
Is it the hatred that Ramu tried feeding Shravan or the love Shravan received from his mom in his early years that is going to win here?😉

Nafrat ke bunyad pe rishtey jode nahi...tode jaate hain! Zindagi ki yahi sacchai hai...a truth that is best left unperturbed for the sake of mankind's sanity! But as we know...hindi TV shows defy reality in every possible way...therein lies the uniqueness of their storytelling!

Yes finally Nirmal's motherly instincts came out.

But where was it all along?
What attempt did she make to atleast be aware of Shravan's whereabouts?

A mother would be like a shadow and how much ever you detest it, you cannot not have it.
I dont see that with Nirmala but glad she did wake up.

Well said...
I hope this narrative goes beyond the nature and nurture issue.
When Nirmala took the decision to stay away from Shravan due to pressure from Ram, she made a monumental error of not realising that Ram would have all the liberty to turn Shravan away from her. By saying that he would be a good father, it was as if she had washed off her responsibilities. To say today that she knows him well ofc sounds very appealing but her decision as a mother (not wife, which she was ofc free to take) would always be called to account

That is why I say, this is a debate where it is diffi to take sides. Even as u know how the terrible the influence of Ram has been on Shravan in his blind hatred of Nirmala.

A wonderful post 👏 Shravan the man he is today is the amalgamation of the mera beta and the tera beta for me it's not that one upbringing has overcome the other

For me Shravan the man he is today despite the glaringly obvious fault that we are seeing these is still a gem of a person despite the tug of war between the two equally faulty individuals Ramnath and Nirmala and credits for the good in him I'll say goes to The Tiwaris specifically Sumo and Nanu he's considered more a family member there than in his own house classic example when Pushku won a case Shravan stood at the threshold looking longingly to be part of the family was one heartbreaking moment he calls the Tiwari killa his home during Khosla times. 😭

If you ask me neither of the parents deserve to be part of his life He's an adult took care of himself the years he was away in London and now Nirmala and Ramnath need not play house house with him All he needs and deserves is a closure to the abandonment that he felt when Nirmala walked out!!

The questions that still keep tormenting him is was I not worth staying back? am I not worthy of love? Am I not important enough for you?? And finally Don't you feel that you have done a grave mistake as a mother who claimed to love for almost 17/18 years of my life? 😭

I'm in the minority of people who believe an Aditya was not required to be introduced as the step brother to prove Nirmala's upbringing better than Ramnath's because once again Nirmala only gave her parvarish to Shravan Malhotra her own flesh and blood not Aditya Ahuja because She entered Adityas life when he was around 16/17 by then his upbringing was completed the only thing Nirmala who as an outsider who's not even Ahujas legal wedded wife she was just an employee cum good friend to chomus dad could have guided chomu but with limitations due to the framework of their relationship that's why she hates ruffling his feathers like yesterday when he badmouthed about Shravan she didn't argue kept mum 🤢

Here the parents care for Shravan that's why Nirmala approached Ramnath by initiating the conversation but their love for him is buried under their egos and Blame game saga
😡
Sorry this became too long 😆
