Yes Chick...that was indeed a very telling conversation...I loved your post..
Tera beta v/s mera beta...but essentially...The beta I hope we are talking of is Shravan...here...Not Adi so I loved your wordplay. seen from my perspective. Although I loved the reference for both reasons
There are sides to pick on this topic. Has tera beta (Shravan, the one she nurtured until 18 years) done as well as mera Beta (Shravan, the one Nir left to Ram's care 10 years ago). Frankly I will be scared to choose a side...😊
So, when Ram asks about tera beta...the real underlying reference is to the one she nurtured until 18 years. So will that surface when the moment of truth surfaces?
or Will the Mera beta, whom Nir left to Ram's care and was brought up by Ram that will come to the fore?
The Tera beta and Mera beta merge into one another at one point. The boy who was nurtured until 18 years ago by Nirmala with her values was exposed to the Ram, whose values Nirmala apparently detests. So, Nirmala took the decision to entrust" Mera" beta to Ram whose transformation we see today in all its flaming hues...
So, while we may want to pick sides, it is important to remember that as parents, these both failed their child. We can argue on the extent depending on how this narrative plays out.
