Thanks for your lovely comment dear.

I agree with you. Communication is key in any relationship. My post was more along the lines of why their communication path is not smooth. More views of mine about that here: http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4697781&PID=136444672&#p136444672

Suman is an interesting character. She hasn't changed much from her teenage days is what I think. When a person is in business it is exhausting. Mentally and physically. So she wouldn't have much mental real estate left to keep in touch with her friends. That and familial responsibilities are the reason she has turned less 'extrovert'ish is my opinion. She is a person who strives towards not being emotionally dependent on one particular person. Work is always there and will never abandon you.

Shravan I think understands Suman very well. He has taken the pains to understand the adult her(atleast in first 100 episodes!). He knows that for her he will never come first. When she was in school it was her friends. Now it is her work. So he has a hard time trusting her. Because he needs to come first.

How to communicate with a person you don't consider worthy of your trust? He is fighting a great internal battle to accept her as she is. And he is losing that battle right now.

MonaCo(sorry don't know your name) put it very well. Shravan puts his relationship first whereas Suman puts herself first.

@Malika- TA.
Sometimes I wonder whether they understand how alone they are in their respective families. S&S both are in a way abandoned ,tho' they have people swarming around.
They both unvocalised expectations from each other and base their claims on two lonely kids clinging together for emotional support during adolescence.

@Glass- I thought Sumo puts herself the last. IMO, her work is more of a necessity than an emotional crutch for her. Sumo is weighed by her sense of obligation to her extended family and will push Shrav behind the bitchy Mami &nosy Chachi in the order of importance. Shrav knows it and imo, he is in a way imitating her behavior as puts his Chachi over her family.

YES! This thread is a delight to read. I hope you keep making posts, even you are with your husband.😆

Absolutely. For whatever reasons there may be, it's often seen that those who conceive a Hindi GEC show end up moving too soon to something else. The same with a show's creatives. I don't know if that's happened here and I hope not. The drama happening right now is quite a well-worn path unlike the earlier stages where there was innovative thinking.

The two characters also have a wonderful complement in the youth actors representing their past and put together, they by themselves are more than enough to sustain interest and play around with the concept of together, yet not so much.

Shravan's dad was drama enough without Aditya jumping into the ditchwater 😆. But again, Aditya's been forced to play the hasty stereotype triangle when he could have been more subtly handled.

More often than not Hindi GEC shows do not survive character assassinations and that is my lone hope here- that none of the characters have yet been soiled beyond reparation. Hope this dynamic onscreen duo continues on a while longer.

+100 happens always doesn't it strong innovative content which impresses so much that you invest all your emotions into it and the leads and then at some stage due to channel pressure or other reasons best known to the PH the same content is comprised at the trp or audience altar.

I hope too that the past few weeks have been an eye opener and salvage mode is activated to give us atleast some quantum of the impressive and powerful content we all fell in love with

Beautiful post...I agree with you on all counts and loved your analysis.😃

Whatever their differences, they love each other. They just need to figure out how to be together. Communication is the key.

I hope they make it work soon. After all they are ek duje ke vaaste.
