Hello my lovelies..
I know most of you have already gushed over yesterday's episode but I wanted to ramble again. You see, Manma Emotion Jaage Re😆
Let's begin with my ramble (btw, its really is a ramble...)
A telephonic conversation between our angry, smexy lawyer and the sweet girl next door. He wants to know the reason behind the lie and Miss Tiwari is under the impression he has come to know about his mother. ..Sonny boy, your anger makes you articulate dialogues which do not sound right. I know you want her at your beck and call but boy, you could have framed it differently.🥱
But two things... "Reason my foot" never sounded so much the better... it was hot, hot, hot (wasn't there a song on this?). Also, on second thoughts, Qutub Minar you just need to find any excuse to see her. Right na... why may I ask? Tell me, tell me... Okay, don't tell me.. we the EDKV forum members will find it out (many of us have already found the answers... you think you are the only smart guy?😉).
Sumo makes an entry.. it's a conference room. So, he is going to be all professional. Not possible, I tell you hottie. Sumo gauges the situation or rather his anger (she doesn't want to take any chances😃) and sits at the far end of the boardroom table.
I cannot discuss properly.. need fresh air. Those smouldering eyes of this man waiting for her to speak ... what was he doing here? ❤️Controlling his anger or really trying to assess how much of a madcap she is. Whatever, but I want to ask Miss Tiwari how did she manage to stay in control?😛
Sumo being Sumo rambled off thinking he has come to know about his mother. She went on and lawyer was exasperated about what the hell she was talking? He told her about the daal and dha se dhurander's greed. Sumo slightly relieved, moves forward (it seemed like she was walking on a chessboard to me) and sits beside him. Sumo tells that "his masterchef" ( I didn't coin this term, it was Shrav's himself😉) couldn't blurt out the truth because of the way he enjoyed his meal the other day with Pushkar. And that the daal had a connection with him, it was a recipe she had learnt from his mother. Flashback scenes and the hardening of emotions on our lawyer's face. He turns his chair around and Sumo still unsure of his anger and hurt tries to explain that she did it for him, for his happiness. She made a request to Shravan to do anything, say anything but don't be hurt. This line and the way Sumo was moving across the room to reach out, to let it sink all in gradually within him. . . was total love. How cute did "sorry bola na" sounded?🤗
And I also admired her for speaking out, for being that trigger to let his repressed thoughts flow again into his conscious waking moments. Also, loved it that Shravan allowed her to speak, to move and to discuss it with him. The conference room where everybody could share their thoughts, every voice could be heard. Sumo's voice and Shravan's anger/hurt brought on the same page and resolved. A dialogue between two people who were in love and yet were not bound by any known societal frameworks .
They were both making moves for each other and towards each other.❤️
He finally says he is not angry with her and he is angry with himself because he remembers the taste of the daal. He gets up (he is moving now) and says he is impressed with her maturity, her caring nature. Sumo likewise, says she is impressed as well.
Now, comes three questions and three answers. Shravan hypothetically asks her if his anger and the intensity of it keeps on increasing what would she have done? It's the last answer which said it all. She will try to find him if he is angry and if unable to she will wait . . . as she has waited for these many years. How simple and how romantic it was... Does anyone need to know why this show is titled Ek Duje Ke Vaaste? The passion and the intensity of this scene was... super. Look at both of their eyes.. and Namik Paul, your eyes speak so much (again digressing, my supervisor was so right😕). The way he allowed Sumo's words to wash over his whole being...
I was and am simply dancing right now. The simplicity of this scene simply amazes me... look how they have moved on ... from across the other side of the table to being immersed in each other's eyes or souls...From being professional to beyond intimate. Super direction👏
I am so reminded of John Donne's famous poem A Valediction : Forbidden Mourning on lovers and they being compared to ends of a compass (geometry wala)... just quoting a few lines
Our two souls therefore, which are one,
. . .
If they be two, they are two so
As stiff twin compasses are two;
Thy soul, the fixed foot, makes no show
To move, but doth, if the other do.
And though it in the center sit,
Yet when the other far doth roam,
It leans and hearkens after it,
This eyelock scene is for me is one of the beautiful moments in the show (probably after the swing scene)... there was no words required for both to feel each other. This is love.
Btw, Shravan, our angry baba do remember these answers of Sumo... we have heard her answers but, your answers are still left. Or, your answers are already known to us...Okay, it has made all of you romantic.. wait, there still more. Sumo asks whether she would continue to send the daal to him. He refuses to even see the daal (how did he know that most of the forum members likewise feel the same?😆). Sumo leaves, but is called back by Lambuji.. She who is standing under an umbrella and he outside under the sun. Shravan mouths one line here... mujhe bhi chao de do. Can anything be poetic as this line?
Provide me that shade from the excruciating rays of the sun, provide me the shade from the dryness of the winter, to finally, you are the shade that I look forward to in my life (this was unsaid.. I added it because this is what it meant😉).
Shade.. comfort, respite, love, your mere presence, a home away from the din and clamour of life (I am reminded also of that scene when Sumo hugged him when he heard about his father's plane crash).
That umbrella was a home, was a world, was a meaning which was so different from that of his parents. Did his parents ever make a move to listen to each other.. they even failed to do it for their
child. I don't want to write more on this... but, one wishes to ask his parents why were they so cruel to this child of theirs?
Shra said you are different from other women because you are special (Sumo darling.. bol dalna
chahiye tha na..that you are in love with him. On second thoughts, glad you didn't we have to see more
romance between you two. Dil Hai Ki Maanta Hi Nahin😉).
And because you are special, Shravan said make that recipe yours. Make it different. Sumo style. . .Underlined more so when he said itna caring mat hona (something to that effect. Missed out on the
dialogues often.. you see I was only watching these two)
Make that recipe yours.. this is what I wanted to hear.. the letter which was penned years ago is not
the end of their narrative and also, not the beginning... there is no end to that narrative because love
has no framework, no rules. . . there is no standard language in love, neither a dialect... you simply
create it like they did by making those moves...Daal made as their own, their own story different from
Shravan's parents.
Red mentioned it in her last post.. it takes two to tango. These two have been tangoing with each other
since these last ten years (naughty, naughty.. and they themselves haven't understood it...adorable
duffers😆). This is what a tango is.. you complement each other's moves completely. And boy did they do that yesterday. Taking the time out to see each other's viewpoints and understanding it slowly and gradually. I have no words... just want to see them together again and again. Completely in love.❤️
And did I hear Sumo say that he is not arrogant but simply a child... Sumo, he is a child with you
because you manage to bring that child which he has repressed over the years. That child who finds
happiness in her cute antics and come what may doesn't want to let go of this side of hers. The child
who was all love and sorry is in love with her. Shravan you said that she is darpok. But that she is
because, she doesnt want to annoy you or hurt you. Because you see, you are her love.
Love means providing a shade.❤️
There were two other scenes.. Pushkar and Preeti. I liked Preeti for the first time, loved her simplicity
and her honesty.
Pushku.. 60,000/- loss, not fair.😆
I wish Shravan says to Pushkar and his family that it was Sumo who had made that daal. It would be great. In turn, Pushku also wins his bet probably a la, 60 thousand loss can be compensated.😃
Nirmala I am not going to speak of... not interested
One more scene, Shravan getting to know of the truth from Dhurander also recovers his money. He is not a fool. Thank you Dhurander for the laughs but more so for being at the receiving end of Shravan's slaps. We love to see him angry.. ab gussa chaye kisi pe bhi phode. Come again Dhurandar for the slaps.
Hottie in action... fangirling on😳
Namik was superlative yesterday.. his eyes, man I was dead (no I want to be alive.. .have to see more of his speaking for and looking out for Sumo. His intense eyes). Nikita was earnest and sincere, very soft like but as Shravan put it... itna bhi caring mat ho. Sumo dear, Sumo style pe khud pado. On whom, you say? Gawd... on Qutub Minar. Really.. how much do we have to make you understand.😉
I shall stop my ramble...
Hopefully you all like it
Waiting for your responses. 😃
Sorry about the formatting.. something went off
