Indrani...what an incredible post!! I enjoyed reading it throughout. This scene has been one of my favourites thus far. The intensity in their actions and emotions was displayed in the most beautiful manner ever!! And the scene where he asks her for shade has a very essential implication for the future. Since I am reading this post after a while, I can relate it to the current situation in the show. Shravan is broken again! He had to face his darkest past, which he literally detests like anything. In all this, he won't get the comfort he wants from his father or his family members. In the end, it will be Sumo who will shield him from the scorching rays of his life and provide him with a much cooler and peaceful life. At this point in time, the sunlight might seem correct for Shravan because it's bright and Suman's shade might seem dark and wrong. However, in the end, he will realize that everything that looks brighter isn't always positive and correct.
