New to the show

Hey everyone. It's been years since I last posted on this forum. I recently started watching EDKV2 and this is my first show after many years that I have started watching on indian television which seems super interesting and cute at the same time which depicts the story between the two main leads without any saas bahu stereotypical bs drama. I'm still trying to catchup with all the epis but so far I'm definitely liking it because it's very different and refreshing from other typical Indian dramas. I remember back when I was a kid we had shows like KMH, IPKKND, Geet, MJHT, DMG which I really loved but they dont make those kind of shows anymore so if anyone has any other recommendations for similar shows that are not saas bahu sagas or illogical supernatural shows then please leave them down in the comment section. I also haven't seen the first season of the show but do let me know if it's worth watching. Also does anyone know if EDKV2 is supposed to be a finite drama? I havn't browsed through this forum properly yet so sorry if this has already been asked but I just seem to really like shows that are straight to the point and don't drag. Anyway, I'm glad to have discovered this show and can't wait to catch up.

It is a finite series as per reports. Being a Sony show, you can almost expect that to be true.

Although the previous season (EDKV1) is by no means connected to the one in present, I'll highly recommend watching it.

I'll also like to recommend a one Bade Bhaiyya ki Dulhania if you haven't already seen it.

(Love MJHT too) Indeed the number of light-hearted shows on air has reduced drastically.

This quarantine has given me so much time that I'm just rewatching all the old shows from my childhood days right now and then on youtube all of a sudden I got recommended this show and immediately fell in love. If you have any romantic, sweet and short shows to recommend then do tell me because I got a lot of time to kill lol!

I was also watching some episodes of IPKKND (I like Sanaya)

I watched EDKV 1 in bits, it was good (not related to EDKV2 as above members mentioned)

I really love Sony TV shows

they are really good

No unnecessary drama, kidnapping (like Zee TV), supernatural element, dragging, mahan FL (sorry if anyone is hurt), etc🤣

most importantly they dare to show different concepts👍🏼
