kajol in gupt she was appreciated more than manisha
priety in armaan she was appreciated more than anil kapoor n gracy
n there r tons of examples in bollywood n their fans enoying them personally i love srk n i loved him in don raess n my fav film is still darr😆i love srk in ddlj too n i enjoy his performance in don too
on tv too i have seen jennifer fans enjoying maya
but still on tv vamps r vamps villains r villains there r stereotypes y cant we treat them as actors?

Are they doing it consistently? No. SRK is romance king, aamir did it just in one movie(Dhoom series always like that, so no exception), kajol, priyanka did it once or twice here and there but overall product always been that they played positive character. I don't know but I read in quora that Mohanlal and Kamal hasan consistently doing negetive roles or grey roles throughout their carriers but how many in bollywood are doing like that. So I feel bollywood actors are also scared to do negetive roles.

negative roles are challenging and the performance is always appreciated n lauded but at the same the story...script n screenplay should be thrilling n gripping enough to support the negative character...they should be equally strong n unpredictable...one should never know what is happening in their heads till they surprise us...it should be that strong...
SRK in Darr n Baazigar is one good example
Maya of Beyhadh is also a good example...they could have done wonders making maya in grey shades...such powerful strong character but they just ruined it...what is remembered now is jenny's performance as maya...maya as a character was brutally ruined

mohanlal only did negative roles at the starting of his career. He started to get recognised in the mid 80 and 90s.
Most of kamal hassan's charactera are grey shaded and complicated.
If an actor does negative roles constantly then he will be always given negative roles only and get stereotyped. Srk might be know as the king of romance but the reason why he stayed in the industry was because of movies like darr and bazigar which were rejected by other top actors of that time.
Did jennifer act in negative role constantly? When main actors decide to play negative roles in movies it is well appreciated by fans and grabs eyeball. Akshay kumar is playing the villian in robot 2.0 and srk plays anti hero in don series.
Infact srk has done grey/negative characters alot. Starting from darr, bazigar, anjam to don series and fan.
