Bang on post dear and agree with all your points. I hadn't watched this show for the past 5 weeks and tried catching up with all the episodes. The last episode I had seen was one where Sharanya proposes to Vyom. This show certainly had potential given the starcast. I have seen Vikram in EHT and JNDSD and he was fab in both and even though I never saw EDKV I have heard great things about Namik and am sure he is a talented actor as well.
The promos promised an intriguing storyline but ever since I started watching it, it has been an overdose of OTT acting and as for the plot, it is filled with loopholes.
Like you I could not ship Shiv Sharanya since there is no point in shipping them as the former is dead. She has no future whatsoever with a dead man and Vyom, even though he was the annoying perfect loverboy, Sharanya made it clear when she declared that even though her mind parted with her memories, her heart felt nothing for Vyom. Which meant he was never her love.
Then comes Rajan Bedi. He was first shown as an over impressive dad who would do anything for his son's love and now we have seen another side to him where he is more obsessive than his son to the point of torturing his own wife for a girl who is yet to accept his son's love 😕
Now our sadhviji. She doesn't know the name of Sharanya's boyfriend but she mentioned a crucial detail about him. He never believed in God till the time Sharanya came into his life and he used to be an aethist. If that is the case it is clear contradiction coz Shiv always thought of Ma Kali as his mother since his childhood. It is more likely he would have influenced Sharanya rather than the other way around. But then there is this mystery of sadhvi not having seen Vyom so far which tends to tilt in Shiv's favour again.
Now coming to Vyom being possessed. I got to know that many in the forum were speculating that Vyom was pretending to be possessed. Good point but doesn't sound logical even if we were to consider that Vyom is the potential villain in this story. He waited so long for Sharanya to first come out of coma and later he was willing to wait all his life for him to accept her. He never forced his love on her other than insisting to be around her all times. And comes the golden moment when Sharanya herself proposed to him. He has it all now and why will he act in a way that will jeopardize everything? Sharanya herself wanted to legitimize their relation and if he waited this long, a few more months wouldn't hurt. And what normal person can throw people in the air, float over a well and in air and hold people by their necks? Vyom is no body builder and even if he were, there is no way you can lift a person like they weigh nothing by their neck, even someone as light weight as Sharanya. How can he magically change the appearance of eyes? Its not just the irises, but his eyes were black pool.
Then comes Rameshwar. Lets say Rajan or Vyom killed Ram but what about the time when Shiv made that pole crash on Ram when he was leaving his old home with the idol? If Shiv was innocent then Ram probably found evidence for Rajan or Vyom's guilt which was in Shiv's favour. Then why did Shiv try to harm Ram?
Now coming to my last point - the mystery man Shiv himself. This guy claims to have loved Sharanya. Then how could he even try to harm Sharanya by possessing Vyom? It could have been to separate Vyom from Sharanya on the pretext of protecting her but still how could he in his wildest dreams make another person molest her? Then he tried to harm Sharanya on numerous occasions. Then we have a flashback when Vyom is writhing in pain with a stab wound and someone holding a knife which we can assume is Shiv. Plus if Sharanya and Shiv were indeed in a relationship, then what about that conversation he had with Madhvi? Never for once did he mention about Sharanya loving him. All he said were that she belonged to him and every breath of hers belonged to him. Isn't this obsession? If Sharanya loved him, then he would have told her that Sharanya has chosen him and Vyom's love is one sided and that he should stay away because Sharanya doesn't love Vyom. But no such thing was mentioned. So far we know one version of truth - Shiv's.
The only person who knows what really happened is Madhvi. If Vyom was indeed the bad guy why would she retain his evidence of guilt? (knife and that cloth) For all we know she wants to expose Rajan n never harm her son.
This all just seems crazy, convoluted to me. I guess I might quit this show after few episodes.
