Umm, Shrenu gave Star Plus a hit way before with EBP (2013-15) which ran for almost two years/500+ epis. Longer than IPK 1 itself. And post that she didn't sit idle but did movies.

Yeah, she made a mistake doing DBO which was a spin off, and got sidelined in IB.

But she has always been a good performer.

Yeah, I get you feel for Zain, and you might be correct in your assumption, since you know him best as his fan

But there is no need to show condescension for Shrenu.

Jahnvi is not the first meaty role she did, Aastha of EBP, will be always be what she known for, though certainly as her fan, I'm glad she chose to do something different as Jahnvi, and it will be might fav role of hers.

Happy ended with 0.9 I guess , 7.30, currently colors show is getting 1.7 , happy had leap , change of lFL ead , entry of new ML etc star gave too many opp to run that show with horrible story thanks to Gul

Never saw NK but I read it ended with good rating n Zain comment about ending with good rating is good n even kcl ended with good rating ( but star plus did not promote this show properly n ruined the story line also )

Regarding Mersey , no body wants that , actors are always prepared with uncertainty but Shrenu has given hit show for star ebp etc , every character she has played became popular Astra Gauri Jhanvi Pooja n hopefully she will keep choosing interesting characters in the future also .

KS was getting 0.6 , mythological show , n now star is launching another mythological on that slot ( I think ) knowing it won’t work

Don’t you know this poster seems to be obsessed with NK being the iconic show the best show ever so unique that she brings it up all over twitter in other shows hashtags and on other shows on india forum lol She also uses the NK forum or hashtags to spout how great NK is compared to Zain’s new show etc I really wonder why she is looking at this and other shows perhaps only to comment how sorely lacking they are compared to NK . Such exaggeration wrt to NK too- it was popular internationally on tv and popular online in India and online internationally but its ratings were average at best throughout its run (after the leap replacing the child actors) It was never consistently the slot leader or leader for star plus . Also it did not have a very long run a bit over a year . So it say it was so iconic or popular hmm . It was also under the scanner before being pulled off because of lower ratings There is a large active fd online but I don’t know if that is the primary reflection of a show’s universal success and popularity when other shows were consistently slot leaders leaders for the channel had higher ratings got more awards and ran for much longer .

I enjoyed NK before the leap with the child actors when the focus was on illegitimacy but still looked at it after the leap when Zain joined ( also looked on and off at Zain’s work before and after NK if it held my interest) and it was okay for the most part though there were certainly some cliched scenes like the FL leaving the male lead without telling him to protect him and his family . Anyway I digress. The point is I can still discuss it logically and not blindly as I do with any show

I think some should learn that what they say is not fact but just an opinion which is subjective and others may have different opinions Also comparisons being continuously made becomes irritating coupled with a transparent attempt to pretend they are being impartial and wish everyone the best

Btw Zain’s breakthrough role which he has acknowledged before NK had similar or even better ratings than NK ran for about the same length of time and earned Zain much more awards but because not such a large active fd online or dropped off over the years the loud voice of another online fd want everyone to believe NK was more successful than it actually was unless online viewers increased followers on social media and a vocal online fd are the primary indicator of popularity and success

As you said learn to respect all actors and shows and do not try to promote one over another with little knowledge Maybe stick to discussing each show on its own forum and stop constantly making comparisons Did not mean to offend anyone

It's budget was lower than EBSS. Only Jasmine was expensive.

Here Shrezain are both expensive

I dont what star thinks when it comes to trp and i dont know what nk fandom thinks About aditi and zain. sometimes i think if even aditi comes back will they give same treatment to her what they gave to zain for pairing with a different stars! ! ! I hope not and I guess SC also has crazy fandom but i feel they aren't obssessed with shivika as far as avniel are considered!

Star and star-audience need to understand that something new should be welcomed with open mind as every new concept cannot be clicked in just months they need time to understand the depth of characters and every time a sacrificing women or mahaanta is not today's india
