So despite pulling all sort of tricks by CV's / PH, this show is ending! 😆

Can't digest revamp not the revamped storyline..

Hope to see Zain and Shrenu in a new show!

It was also under the scanner before being pulled off because of lower ratings There is a large active fd online but I don’t know if that is the primary reflection of a show’s universal success and popularity when other shows were consistently slot leaders leaders for the channel had higher ratings got more awards and ran for much longer .

I enjoyed NK before the leap with the child actors when the focus was on illegitimacy but still looked at it after the leap when Zain joined ( also looked on and off at Zain’s work before and after NK if it held my interest) and it was okay for the most part though there were certainly some cliched scenes like the FL leaving the male lead without telling him to protect him and his family . Anyway I digress. The point is I can still discuss it logically and not blindly as I do with any show

I think some should learn that what they say is not fact but just an opinion which is subjective and others may have different opinions Also comparisons being continuously made becomes irritating coupled with a transparent attempt to pretend they are being impartial and wish everyone the best

Btw Zain’s breakthrough role which he has acknowledged before NK had similar or even better ratings than NK ran for about the same length of time and earned Zain much more awards but because not such a large active fd online or dropped off over the years the loud voice of another online fd want everyone to believe NK was more successful than it actually was unless online viewers increased followers on social media and a vocal online fd are the primary indicator of popularity and success

As you said learn to respect all actors and shows and do not try to promote one over another with little knowledge Maybe stick to discussing each show on its own forum and stop constantly making comparisons Did not mean to offend anyone

As I have discussed with you time and again on this forum I enjoyed NK with the child actors and also looked at it after the leap . I found it okay after the leap but there was certainly some weak writing and cliched scenes in my opinion at some points . Because I do not agree with you that it is the best show ever iconic and groundbreaking etc does not mean I hate it. Also you constantly saying I hate it is not going to change the reality that I certainly don’t hate it lol . If I hated it I certainly would not continue to look at most episodes till the end .Can you not get that through your head ? I cannot be a blind fan about ANY show . I can see both the strengths and weakness in my opinion . Also I look at a show for the characters storyline writing and execution not the actors .

You are the only person I have seen on india forums who keeps constantly bringing up a particular show on the forums of other shows . Some others do so only occasionally. That is the only reason you came to my attention. I think most people discuss the show for which the forum was created not constantly bringing up another show . It seems odd .

How am I morally policing ? We are free to express our views and give opinions on other’s opinions . Why did you not respond to the poster who first commented on your original comment asking you not to be condescending to Shrenu if you are so sensitive and easily offended? Perhaps she was morally policing you too as she dared to disagree with you and gasp call you out on your biases! Even she is not morally policing but had a valid point for those who blindly support their favs and try to subtly put down other actors or shows with half knowledge and a simple inability to respect differing views, stop making comparisons shoving the same opinion everywhere down everyone’s throats and labelling anyone who disagrees with them as a hater. But you don’t seem to have the mental capacity to understand that So what to do but ignore you from now on

This is the virtual world remember though I guess to you this seems to be a large part of your reality. I actually am on twitter.I have also had discussions with blind fans like yourself and more balanced fans on twitter about NK , EBSS and other shows. Why would I be afraid of expressing my opinion before hundreds on twitter as you put it? . What is anyone going to do -hunt me down in real life and beat me up that I have to be afraid lol People make such empty threats on social media but in reality can really do nothing Perhaps you would be sensitive to bashing but I am not afraid of healthy discussions and differing opinions . The good thing about twitter is that you can block or mute blind fans who bash you or are incapable of having an intelligent or nuanced discussion Pity that is not that option here .

It is common in this forum to bash one person and others liking that bashing quotes and this is thing I never saw in the other forums

Leave it dear. You didn’t even say anything bad against shrenu, you simply just failed to mention or realise shrenu had done another lead role before and they got defensive and offended over that as if you insulted shrenu in the worst way possible. Nowadays you can’t predict what can offend a person. Geez!

I looked at NK and Zain’s shows before and after as well as Jasmin’s shows as I liked the lead trio in TEI and all shows had their pros and cons . I found NK okay after the first leap ( though I esp liked it with the child actors) but certainly imo Avneil story was not iconic groundbreaking . There have been other strong female leads other supportive male leads etc in other shows Indeed the illegitimacy issue was relegated to the backgd like most other shows with social issues and in my opinion there were cliched and illogical moments as with most soaps .

Everyone is entitled to their views and should not be termed a hater as this poster has labeled me -if they have opposing views . It is difficult to deal with seemingly blind supporters of any show or actor. This poster subtly or blatantly shows preference for NK or Zain’s performance in NK or Zain’s pairing with Aditi while putting down whatever the current show being discussed ,pairing with Zain in the current show, or Zain’s role or character in the current show compared to Neil in NK . My comments were not made solely on the seemingly “innocent “ Shrenu reference but a pattern of behaviour . Btw this is the first show I am looking at with Shrenu and not making my comments as a blind Shrenu fan. It is unusual to see this constant reference to NK in other shows’ discussions and more importantly the constant unfavourable comparisons of these shows compared to the blind support of NK . Indeed I would find this irritating if any poster not only this one was doing this with any show not only NK on other shows’ discussion tags forums etc It could conceivably also become irritating for those who did not look at or were not interested in the said previous show or enjoyed it for the most part but did not find it particularly iconic or ground breaking and what is problematic is being termed a hater by said poster if an opposing view is expressed or if it is suggested that the poster primarily stick to a discussion of the show for which the forum or tag was created.

Anyway I will leave it here. Will not discuss this topic anymore or engage with said poster on this topic anymore though I am sure she will reply to your response if not mine - well perhaps or perhaps not who knows lol

Feeling bad for the cast and crew....par ye to hona hi tha......makers ne suruwat mein hi galti kari thi Shrenu aur Zain ko pair up na karke......revamp ke baad dono ko pair up karne ka kya faida jab suru mein bhaia-bhabi dikha rahe the .

It feels worse because Shrenu and Zain look remarkably good together and their acting prowess match so much that they uplift each other's screen presence while doing a scene together .

A show is not designed for Actors....its designed according to story and characters. Shrenu and Zain were NEVER meant to be paired in this show. But because of REVAMP they forced this pairing and changed whole story to a useless boring story.

Apart from fans of Shrenu and Zain...no one ever cared whether they are paired in show or not. TRP audience watches a show for its STORY and CHARACTERS. Good Chemistry happens when Characters and Scenes are well written.
