The story you describe is really filmy - Krishna's blood landing on Rukmini's maang 😲 In case anybody's wondering, never happened. Reason Rukmi was an enemy of Krishna was that he was an ally of Jarasandha. After Rukmini's marriage, Rukmi ceased to be one, and became an ally of Krishna.
This serial is more or less accurate about how Krishna came to know about Rukmini.
P.S. Today, I watched your SBS and BALH. Saw what you meant about Toasty - at least, she makes her point of view known, regardless of whether one agrees w/ it or not. I didn't - I do think her jeth has a right not to want her jethani, but at least, she made a good pitch for why she should be taken back. Given the events @ the end, I think she'll get her way.
And BALH - I liked how Priya hid nothing - her fiance asks her for an AC hall, and she gives her father that message, unfiltered. I can think of a lot of bahus for whom such a message would end up in a black hole.

As I said animated movies seriously show misleading information... maybe bcoz there's no threat of TRPs😆

I've put a full stop to the fictional soaps I've been watching. Except for BV & SBS, I can't handle any other saas bahu soap. However I even avoid BV most of the times. Today I missed the first part of DBSK due to BV but caught some scenes later on but just partially... missed the Rukmini haran part But during SBS, I just don't change the channel, not even during the breaks😆 I've stopped BALH long time back & I don't care about it even during repeats😆

Btw today when I saw Rukmi towards the last scene, I felt like I was watching Shani Dev for a moment, I mean his entire look & costume reminds of Shani Dev disguising himself all the time in the serial during his nyaya chakra😆 And I'm serious about this, that turban on his head was the main reason to make me feel like this

Btw doesn't Dau Bhaiyya look like a warrior of those period Hollywood movies with that helmet covering his face😆 I'll have to catch the show completely only tomorrow as right now my parents are watching their BV which they had missed partially as I kept on tuning into DBSK frequently. But at the end neither we watched BV competely nor DBSK🤣

On a very serious note, I just hope DBSK comes back to the charts & holds a consistent position bcoz I want to see all the details of Krishna's life. I don't want this show to end. If this show doesn't do good for the channel then I wonder will the channel let this show go on. The channel just needs a small hint & then they're ready to pull a show down. The channel needs to promote this show. Whenever I watch Imagine all I can see Rakhi's show being promoted. Surprisingly I see the promos of even BAVD going on & on. Just by setting up the Krishna's pic in the background in the official website & youtube won't work...Promote it in a big way!!! Btw I doubt now they'll keep DBSK pics in the background. Soon they'll fill it up with Rakhi's pics🤣

guys...this is the grp chart of the week

Zee TV, Sony witness GRP upswing

By afaqs! news bureau, afaqs!, Mumbai, July 28, 2011
Section: News Category: Media Publishing

While for Zee the push has primarily come from the shows Ram Milayi Jodi and Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli, the Boroplus Gold Awards 2011 contributed significantly to the channel's GRPs.

For the week ended July 23, it's Zee TV and Sony Entertainment, the third and fourth players in the top GEC bracket, which have witnessed GRP upswings.

While Zee TV at No. 3, has moved 35 points up the ladder to register 220 GRPs, Sony, standing at the fourth position, has added 11 points to its kitty, to end the week with 193 GRPS. Zee's relative share has also moved up from 14.6 per cent to 17 per cent, while Sony's relative share is 14.9 per cent (14.3 per cent in the previous week).

While for Zee the push has primarily come from the shows Ram Milayi Jodi and Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli, the Boroplus Gold Awards 2011, aired on Sunday at 8 pm, delivered a TVR of 3.5. The event contributed approximately 23 GRPs to the channel.

Evidently for Sony, the win has come with its latest show, Bade Achche Lagte Hai.

Star Plus, meanwhile, continues to lead the flock with 316 GRPs in its pocket. It has however lost 4 GRPs in Week 30, while its channel share has dropped from 25.3 per cent to 24.3 per cent.

Colors, at No. 2, has witnessed a 4-point drop during the week to close its grade with 267 GRPs. Its relative share has slid to 20.6 per cent from 21.4 per cent that it had registered in Week 29.

Sony's sibling channel SAB TV has lost 9 points during the week to garner 124 GRPs. Its relative share is also down from 10.5 per cent to 9.5 per cent.

At No. 6, Imagine TV is one point up the ladder, to score 66 GRPs. Its relative share is, however, stable at 5.1 per cent. STAR One, with 36 GRPs and a channel share of 2.8 per cent, follows it.

Imaine tv has such low grps...i think even in this week dkdbsk is out of top 100

Well if DBSK's timing was not at 8 then maybe I would have loved to watch the histo show of Zee but as my preference is mytho over histo my choice is DBSK. I'm not surprised with Sony coming up. Well I think some programs are just too good...the fictional crime thriller CID or Adalat or the non-fictional show Crime Patrol. Even SBS the fictional saas bahu show is good in my POV...though I don't watch the others but the others serials are too popular.

Something is seriously wrong with Imagine. I don't know what actually? Is it the goodwill that it has earned for itself by axing shows on a frequent basis or the goodwill of not promoting it's existing shows properly or the goodwill of ignoring the old ones as new shows come or the goodwill of giving more importance to reality shows which have no reality at all at the cost of it's running serials or the goodwill of changing the time slots of the existing shows just to fit in the so-called reality shows...I don't think even God knows the exact answer😆

Well I feel if DBSK gets promoted properly then it will gain some more new audiences. Btw looking at the promos of Rakhi's new show...I feel it's not a family show then what's it doing at a prime time slot. It should get the 11 pm slot just like Rakhi's insaaf😆 Sorry just kidding!😉 Surely the Rakhi fans will come & kill me now😆

Imagine hardly promotes even Shani Dev. I hardly see a promo for it. Even CGM which is doing wonders for the channel has started getting less promoted. Previously they were just using the used scenes & giving out promos. Finally with the new promo of the senior CGM, the channel is doing justice towards the show.

But what about DBSK? Yes I did catch the new promo during CGM where the audiences are invited for the Haldi ceremony of Krishna-Rukmini... But it's not enough The show needs more promotion & coverage in the media...Imagine are you listening or not!😡

I have a theory that Imagine TV is more interested in celebreties and star power, rather than shows that really shine and do well on their own. That explains why they thought SRK would be easily preferable to Rakt Sambandh, but even though the latter numbers plummeted, ZkJ never took off. They bumped off KMH2 and GkD, but RkR hardly did any justice to the channel except its finale episode 🤣 Now they think Rakhie is their silver bullet.
I understand that Sagar Pictures, having been given the shaft by Colors, was only too happy to try Imagine TV. IMO, however, they'd have done themselves more favors by approaching Star Utsav, or any of the other channels.

Even SONY TV also used to axe shows like Imagine when they were not working ..But SONY TV is the only channel which tried to bring some changes or freshness when it comes to fiction shows as well as non fiction ...They have long list of shows which did not work ..But none of them was actually saas bahu sagas...

About Imagine TV ...They started great ..even next revamp with shows like "Bandini",Jyoti and KMH worked ..But after i did not find any concept working ...Even Kashi and PCKM was not that bad ( I loved Kashi , initially ..but it did not work)...

Imagine tv should either bring Reality shows or Mythos ...Or should work on fiction band than following other channel ...Colors clicked with audience because they tried to lead .NDTV IMAGINE tried too ..but IMAGINE TV just suck

Yup, I agree that Sony in that past too had axed a lot of its shows as they were not doing well but when a show does well Sony doesn't seem to be in a hurry to axe it. CID has been the saving grace for the channel whenever the other shows didn't work. You're right there's a certain freshness in the concept in the fictional shows & don't exactly fall in the saas bahu category just like the shows of its sibling channel SAB can't be called Saas bahu shows.

The shows of Imagine too start with certain freshness in the concept but later on they start following the foot steps of the saas bahu shows which is highly disappointing. When a show is doing well at a particular time, most of the channels hardly change the time slot but Imagine is just too brave & changes the time slot just to squeeze in its new reality show. When Jyoti was another consistent player in the TRP charts, the channel just threw the show at 7:30 pm slot (as a result I had to give it a miss), when RS was doing well at 10 pm, the channel again changed it's time slot to 7 pm (again I couldn't catch it). If the channel changes the time slots of those shows which were not doing well in the TRP charts then I can understand but why even touch the shows that are doing well in terms of TRPs, just for the sake of showing reality shows. Just let them be where they are & if they stop doing well, then change the time slots. Why can't the channel understand that a reality show is not forever, it's just there only for a short period of time whereas a fictional soap, if all things favorable, has the capacity to run for a longer time which is more fruitful for the channel.

I don't mind Imagine axing its shows if it's not doing well for the channel but why to spoil the storyline of stories which are fetching TRPs. Jyoti was brought back to the 8:30 pm slot later on, but the storyline was ruined completely & it was heard that the channel had interfered a lot in the job of CVs, just to bring their new fictional show.

I guess the only good thing about Imagine is that they never thought of axing Shani Dev. But despite being the consistent player for the channel, Imagine doesn't seem to be interested in promoting the show just bcoz it has grown old... Ignoring the old shows for the sake of new shows is not a good thing at all.
