Will definitely do the needy to save this show!

Exactly! It's really refreshing to see strong and independent female leads for once who aren't shown crying, cooking or being pushed around all the time.

Keep fighting 'til the end, we still have time to save the show!😉

suddenly this message (going off) came...felt so bad..sad...depressed..disbelief...currently I am watching only one show in tv that to manmarzian...

do not know how can I spend my day without watching ardhika... 😭

Oh, yes, I loved that scene as well! And like you pointed out; I really appreciate how they don't drag the scene's. They keep things rolling, you know, things happen.

I know how you feel, it's quite disappointing when the only show you watch is getting cancelled. But don't be sad, there's still a slight chance that we can save this show or buy it some more time. Keep spreading the word and send the petition to friends, and make sure to spam SP on twitter, via mail etc.

God bless YouTube!😆

On a serious note though, it's quite sad that we wouldn't know about this show if it weren't for YouTube. SP obviously did a terrible job promoting it.

My feelings are also same...I am watching this show from the beginning as I used to watch masterchef and this show replaced that...thought of watching a couple of episodes...but got hooked into it...This show is so different from the typical saas bahu drama and pathetic kitchen politics...
But alas Indian trp aunties won't like this kind of shows...so as usual low trp cz it has to compete with shows like saathiya, diya bati etc...One thing I must say that within a short span of time this show can created a niche audience for it...many young viewers like this show and it's quite popular among them...
The show was at its peak during the lonavala track...but I think at that point the channel thought of introducing family drama and evil nandini was presented before us which didn't go well with the concept...
Seriously I just dnt know for long will these saathiya, simar, yeh rishta, and ekta ji shows will torture the hell out of me...After this show I think I have to again stop watching shows. ...

My sentiments exactly. The show is too good to receive this kind of treatment! And isn't it a youth based show? Why is it aired at such a late time slot? SP didn't give DYM a good platform to begin with; barely any promotions, a bad time slot (based on the target audience). Like you said, SP is only appropriate for the saas bahu type shows with the repetitive storylines that they keep showing year after year. I really wish a different channel had picked up this show!

And yes, I really do miss the lonvala times. Bringing in Nandi was a huge mistake.

DYM is a beautiful story. I have watched some episodes of it. Have read WUs and was a show I wanted to watch from the promo times. But the timings didn't help at all.
Atleast they could have given the epi overview on Sundays. That would have helped many viewers like me who are juggling work and home. And whatever we watch on hotstar don't count for the TRP or whatever.
And Fri epi when I watched it, I understood why I loved the show. That one dialogue from Piyali that her daughter will have to stand in front of Arjun showed why the show was different. It was not a crying mother who sat there, because some guy broke her daughter's heart , but a woman who was determined to mend her daughter's broken feelings in the right way.
And again the scene of Radhika and Arjun where Arjun asks why Rasam for fake marriage and Radhika replies she will call it fake if Arjun stays away from Sam and if not she will follow the rasam no matter what.

I'm one of the Late Latifs too. I came in sometime early June...the time when radhika was accused of selling out Bird Song to the opposition. I haven't yet caught up with all the back episodes but saw some relevant ones.

Definitely, the story isn't meant for Trp aunties and grannies. But, surely, the channel knew that! There was absolutely NO way Star could have misunderstood the premise. Okay, they say it was an experiment that didn't work, eventually.

What I want to know on what evidence are they basing this allegation? On the questionable Trp system that is so archaic and full of holes? A trp system that includes a small cross-section of people? A system that divides the viewership into slots that include income, gender, religion, location, age etc?

How much of this pie is reserved for the youth?

Don't they know there is an audience beyond a small bunch of Trp givers? A whole wide world, literally who follow the show? It should have continued as an experiment because it would have been a golden opportunity to attract a whole new demography of viewers who usually laugh at the very words, Hindi Serial.

A mighty channel like Star should have the gumption and yes, the money, to 'experiment' without worrying about trps. OK, maybelline is no longer a sponsor, seeing that their name doesn't appear anymore. Getting another sponsor that owns a youth based product shouldn't have been difficult for Star.

There may be a problem between the channel and PH. Who knows? I'm not sure but will DYM have the dubious honour of being the only show that ended in four months?😕

@pippa I guess there was another show I guess Kali -Ek Punar Avatar a thriller based on Nitish Katara case. The show closed with 69 epi. That is I would say some 3 months or so. So Manmarziyaan have gone 4 months.
Coming to SP I would say Everest was the only offbeat show they didn't meddle with irrespective of having TRP between 1.6-1.8. Maybe because it was finite show of 104 and belonged to Asutosh Gowarikar. And Fair and lovely sponsored it till the end.
Else SP starts good shows, but then abruptly ends them due to TRP. Ek Hasina thi which was critically acclaimed serial of last year was shut down before 3 months due to TRP only. But it was to the show's luck that when the shut down was announced the TRP rose dramatically and the show ended as a slot topper. That made SP change the stance as EHT was finite show instead of a flop show. And SP lost a lot of audience with the replacement they got for EHT which is running a flop in UK where the slot was ruled by EHT. And its India rating is also average much lower than what EHT got when they decided to axe it.
Manmarziyaan has 0.7 TRP at 10:30 slot. Sony and Zee has shows running with much lower TRP at prime time. So how can they call manmarziyaan an experiment that went wrong.

If dey r shutting d show cos of trp den its really unfair. ..barc is not even reliable..last week it did not have the trp of gulmohar grand (sun-10.30)...
As for viewers jus njoy d show til it lasts...b happy dat show had a gud story nd its closing with dignity...had it stayed longer sp wud hv destroyed d show as whole...
and as for viewers request sp vil play deaf and mute in such situation. ..jus sit back nd njoy d show...
nd as for sony tv dey hv some standards nd zee gives all its shows a chance to get trp and colors promotes its every show equally..d same cant b said wid sp...sp is only about trp
