Yup. It is different. I just wish the writers hadn't rushed through certain things, and utilized the characters to their fullest potential.

DYM is a beautiful story. I have watched some episodes of it. Have read WUs and was a show I wanted to watch from the promo times. But the timings didn't help at all.

Atleast they could have given the epi overview on Sundays. That would have helped many viewers like me who are juggling work and home. And whatever we watch on hotstar don't count for the TRP or whatever.

And Fri epi when I watched it, I understood why I loved the show. That one dialogue from Piyali that her daughter will have to stand in front of Arjun showed why the show was different. It was not a crying mother who sat there, because some guy broke her daughter's heart , but a woman who was determined to mend her daughter's broken feelings in the right way.

And again the scene of Radhika and Arjun where Arjun asks why Rasam for fake marriage and Radhika replies she will call it fake if Arjun stays away from Sam and if not she will follow the rasam no matter what.

Definitely, the story isn't meant for Trp aunties and grannies. But, surely, the channel knew that! There was absolutely NO way Star could have misunderstood the premise. Okay, they say it was an experiment that didn't work, eventually.

What I want to know on what evidence are they basing this allegation? On the questionable Trp system that is so archaic and full of holes? A trp system that includes a small cross-section of people? A system that divides the viewership into slots that include income, gender, religion, location, age etc?

How much of this pie is reserved for the youth?

Don't they know there is an audience beyond a small bunch of Trp givers? A whole wide world, literally who follow the show? It should have continued as an experiment because it would have been a golden opportunity to attract a whole new demography of viewers who usually laugh at the very words, Hindi Serial.


A mighty channel like Star should have the gumption and yes, the money, to 'experiment' without worrying about trps. OK, maybelline is no longer a sponsor, seeing that their name doesn't appear anymore. Getting another sponsor that owns a youth based product shouldn't have been difficult for Star.

There may be a problem between the channel and PH. Who knows? I'm not sure but will DYM have the dubious honour of being the only show that ended in four months?😕

Well said dear...SP didn't even try to promote this show...They use to air some promos in the starting month April and May but after that totally stopped...may be they knew that they are going to axe it so why to air promos...

That can easily shift this show to a better time slot like in the evening...but no they won't there they have such a regressive soap mere angne mein running for 1 hr...

Now with 3 weeks left let's see if the CV's end this on a good note...really hoping for that...

SP is responsible for the shows downfall to be honest. More promotions and a better time slot could easily get DYM back on its feet. It somehow feels like they want to axe it. I wish it was possible for the show to shift to another channel.

So I guess I was not only one to recently just start watching this show. I guess that proves you need to give it time for people to start watching such shows. It takes time for them to pick up and not be in such a rush to end it.

Seriously what a bummer! It's not even been a day of my obsession and I get the news of it ending! I have been going through such a rough time in my life and this show came as a little bit of happiness and light in my life and it gets snatched away from me like huge bandage being ripped of me.

I have never hated a channel more then SP because at least other channels have given their shows 6 months to a year to try to get some ratings. I really don't get what these people were thinking putting such a show at such a late night time slot. Like where did their brains go during this meeting? This show would have done so great at the 6pm slot time.

I feel so so sad. I only wish we had at least 2-3 months extension if not a time slot change. I feel like that would have been even enough to give justice to this story, actors and us fans.
