A very short story taking place in the foreseeable future:
Unspoken Desire
Nothing could stop him today. His feet kept moving without his will or his conscious knowledge. Some unforeseen force pulling him to her...as if a string was binding them together.
Arjun had come to Sam's apartment to pick her up for a party, but she had not been there. Rather he had found Radkiha in the living room in a beautiful red saree. She was looking out of the window, one hand poking out to catch the rain on her palms. She kept flicking the water on her face. The innocence on her face...the pure joy of childhood on her face left him struck for a moment. He watched in awe, amazed by this creature of light and joy. Seconds ticked by...or was it minutes...he didn't know nor did he care.
She absentmindedly took one of her fingers wet with water and circled her lips with it. That was his undoing. The final straw. His feet started moving of their own accord. No one or nothing could seem to stop him now. There was something about that girl that he just couldn't seem to get out of his mind. He wanted her with a desperation that even he didn't know existed. He had wanted revenge for what seemed like an eternity for his sister's broken heart, but all that seemed to fly out of the window everytime he laid his eyes on her. It was like she held some power over him that tethered him to her. She had the power to bring him down to his knees and she didn't even know.
Nothing and no one could stop his quiet steps on the tile floor. He was mesmerized. He simply could deny it no more...he was hungry for her. For her laughter, her twinkling eyes, her compassion, her beauty and so much more.
He finally reached her...stopping right behind her. He laid his hand on her waist and inch by torturous inch moved it closer to her belly button. She tensed up as soon as she felt the hand and looked back at him and whispered "arjun..." God, how he had longed to hear his name on her lips. She slowly relaxed but her breathing quickened. She could feel the energy surrounding them too. Her eyes landed on his and he felt it all the way in his soul...a soul he didn't know he had. A soul that demanded he be a better man...for her. She made him want to be better man.
She slowly turned around and he saw the shy blush that had crept down her face making her look all the more adorable. She looked up at him with eyes soft with desire. She tried to slow her shallow breaths as he kept staring at her adorable face, which only increased the blush. So she quickly walked away from him trying to break the spell. She was trying to control this madness brewing between them. A madness that had been brewing for months. It was going to reach it's zenith soon and there was nothing he could do to stop it. He simply could not hold himself back anymore.
"Sir, Sam..."
And just like that the magic had vanished. He was brought back to earth...he finally remembered his mission. When he could not seem to remember anything else...and he couldn't even remember why he shouldn't forget.
"Sir, Neil needed something, so Sam went to his house. She said she would be back before you got here but she's late."
The phone rang so Radhika picked it up. Few minutes later she hung up and said "Sam said she will just go to the party with Neil since she can't make it back here in time. She said she would meet you there. And...and she also said...that I should go with you."
Even if Sam had not said that...he would not have let her go by herself.

So be gentle guys. It's been two years since I have written anything. I was in grad school...still am actually so I was too busy to write anything but for some reason I simply could not stop myself today.
