Crossroads - Prologue
There are moments in our lives where we find ourselves at crossroad, afraid, confused, without a road-map. The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days. Life always gives choices; it's us who are responsible for what choice we make. Life isn't as easy as it's spelling is. Just a 4 letter word and a wide range of meanings. Often we found ourselves at points, that are the result of the twists and turns that our life take. Points that force us to choose one from the crossroads that are the choices available. It depends on us, what road we want to take, what choice we make. Our choices are the mirror of the rest of our days that reflect our future. We are the ones who are responsible for the shape of our future, so the fate isn't the one to be held responsible for out miseries. Though fate plays an important part in our lives, it tempts us to take an easy route or sometimes follow the path which is full of pain.And then there is destiny. They say that what is meant to be, due to happen, can't be changed with any of our efforts and the same thing goes for the events that are not meant to be happened. This is the story of four different people, who chose different paths for them, made their choices and are leading their life that way, until they met, four of them, at crossroads again. Radhika, the meek, clueless, talented and righteous, 21 year old girl who is deeply rooted in family. Like most of 21-year olds, Radhika is clueless about her true calling. Nevertheless, she wishes to know herself, explore, dream before the expectations of the family claim her. Radhika has a strong grip over writing and usage of words. And that's what she chose, explore her dreams and so she came to Mumbai and joined Bird Song to fulfil what she wished for. Samaira, attitude, of being upfront, careless, living life on her terms and doing what she actually wants to do, that's what can describe Samaira, lovingly and adoringly know/called as Sam. 22-year old Sam never fears to speak up for what is right. Best friends with Neil and Radhika, she's a girl ruled by her heart. Arjun, he's a mystery. A vengeful, handsome, deceptive, arrogant and manipulative. Some events that occurred in his life, forced him to chose the path of revenge, full of pain. Pain that he suffered from and pain that he wants those persons to go through, who are responsible for those harsh events. He joined Bird Song with a hidden purpose. He hardly trusts anybody. Neil, the sweet, charming and good looking guy. He's the man, any girl would fall for. He the best friend one could have, a good advisor and is of jovial nature who believes in making everyone happy. Just like Radhika he creates magic with his words. Samaira, his best friend holds a special place in his life that he is trying hard to accept. Ignorance is his choice. Fate has a funny way of bringing people together. It then tangles them in the complicated web of emotions, create different hurdles in their life based of what path they chose for themselves and also gives them the hope of encouragement to reach their destiny. Fate is the one responsible for the web in which Radhika, Arjun, Sam and Neil are caught. And this is their story, as to how they overcome their fears, move past the boundaries, accept the results of their choices and embrace their destiny.
