Watching Doree from Episode 1 - Page 3

Anand and kailashi both are murderer and cunning person. Anand is rapist too...

First few episodes were well balanced in terms of handling various threads. Now it is simply about murder and thakur family drama.

Doree's education track - forgotten

Weaver's colony story - not developed

Kailashi's ill treatment of less fortunate people and her domestic staff not developed

Manasi Anand marriage track - somewhat better

Anand Mansi Agni triangle is the only good thing in the current scenario.It is understood that till they are ready for leap they will continue this track.

If they develop some characters in weaver's colony they can tell socially relevant stories.

Anand Mansi Agni triangle is the only good thing in the current scenario.It is understood that till they are ready for leap they will continue this track.

If they develop some characters in weaver's colony they can tell socially relevant stories.

So far, based on episodes I am watching, my take is that this whole triangle and extremities are introduced because of preleap success.

The episodes I am looking at has lots and lots of foreshadowing for grown up Doree and not this whole thing... Badi hokar she would make glory and fortune... And even choice of actors are those who can be part of 20 years leap. Amar, Toral, Sudha, all of these are shown more or less one generation down...

But since show did very well by Colors standards, they are dragging it with introducing rishta between Kailashi and Ganga, they tranformed Ganga to appear more macho kinda role and Toral in heroine avtar...

Baaki with episodes 25-40 show is overly focusing on impending leap. Mulgi aayi also started around same time as Doree and that show has grown up Arya... Show cannot survive long without love story, and hence this whole Mansi and Ganga angle baaki in these episodes I didn't see any significance of their pairing... They both played role of Doree's protector, with Manasi being guide and Ganga fulfilling Doree's fate requirements. Ab it has intensified alot, I want to believe.

They are both the same mother and son .

Colors started with a bang with Balika Vadhu and Anandi.Since then they are trying to recapture that success with their other shows. Doree is the latest in this long line.

In Balika leap happened after 500 episodes.In these 500 episode they showed a lot of tracks which were not necessarily Anandi centric but were connected with the theme of the show child marriages and empowerment girl child/women they told so many stories of so many girls/women in a very engaging manner which also shaped the lead's character. They never let go of their main focus. Even after the leap with all the love stories all the scenes were woven around the main theme.

Balika Vadhu apart from Anandi Jagya had so many other chracters which became very popular and they could tell so many stories in parallel. Suguna Phooli Sanchi Anandi and Jagya's parents also had their own tracks which were interesting.

Doree's theme should have been about Doree learning about the world through the weavers' stories which this show doesn't want to tell.Instead we get this nasty Takur woman.They made Doree and Ganga as Takur's khoon which took away the impact of the social and econmic gap and just turned it into a family drama.

The scene's written for Doree are so over the top like the one where Doree insisting on donating blood and hospital staff giving into her demand. It is a total put off.

They have taken Amar and Toral because they are already established lead actors who have seen some massive success as leads and the channel needs pillars like them to support the show as they can run the show with a story of their own while they establish Doree.

Doree scenes need a lot of improvement.

Weavers's stories need to be developed too then only they can have a long running show on their hands.

Kailashi's son who is teacher and a story could have been written for him too.

They are not using the characters well.

Banares weavers - There are actually so many stories about them which actually could be used .

I don't notice foreshadow of growth up doree... But other things like connection between mansi and Ganga (like they always colour coordinated, mansi not having any connection with vansh and Anand), second foreshadow is vansh and doree as couple for future (may be I wrong), kailashi devi not liking basti people because of thakur sahab having EMA with basti girl, vansh truth come out kailashi devi change in nature ( second and third foreshadow story got cancelled) and many more..

Before story start all media mentioned that Mansi and Ganga going to be couple in the show...

There is one more BTS in initial day, in which Mansi is pregnant and they are going to show back story of Mansi ( i think the day doree birth , how Anandi change babies .. plus mansu has connection with ganga before doree born etc...) but maker delayed ganga and Mansi track and change ganga and Kailashi background story..

Anyways, I think Doree and Vansh as a couple could be incest... Adopted hi sahi, Vansh is son of Anand and Mansi...

I like Sattu as a child friend but then not sure..
