Watched the last episode . They wrapped up pretty much all the loose ends . Editing was shabby but I guess they had to squeeze in so much in one episode .

Will definitely miss doree , maan and the show so much . It has been a stress buster for most of the time of its run . Will be probably rewatching on hotstar sometime again .

.I wish ishaan , priyanshi and whole cast and crew get a good show soon .

It's been a pretty nice show. I keep repeating that it feels so unlike other Colors serials- especially from the griha pravesh part where Maan supports Doree, and pretty much continues to support her throughout the show instead of having repeated misunderstandings due to his other toxic family members (as it happens with most Colors shows)

I was somewhat wary of Priyanshi and Ishaan as a pairing, but they did quite well, all things considered. Even if they fought offline, it didn't show in their scenes, and I guess that's all that matters really.

Just wish it had been given a fair deal by the channel- the time slot should've been kept at 10.30 when it was doing 0.8-0.9, instead of moving closer to 11 during the IPL.

In an ideal scenario, the PH should've probably struck a 150-200 episode deal with the channel w/o TRP pressure. Dunno why more shows don't take this approach...200 is long enough to tell a good story, and stories beyond this point eventually get spoilt some way or the other as they try to extend for extending's sake.

Could've maybe revealed the identity of Pratham's father and bought Dadi from the old age home in the last epis though. Also thought the actor playing RJN's father (he's a pretty seasoned one) was under-utilised big time.

I do have some (big) quibbles with the editors and (minor quibbles with) the writers, but the overall theme was positive, and that's a big plus in my books...I really don't like shows where the negative character keeps winning and doesn't get punished.

Nice to see y'all here, although at times in the end, it felt like I was talking to myself on the forum smiley4 (sadly IF's days as a big discussion hub are long gone. I saw more folks discussing the show on X than here)

I felt that in the beginning, when it just me typing about the episodes. smiley36 Can't believe it ended, but I did lose interest in the end. A pretty rushed episode but at least there was SR.smiley36 Even I think they could have explored Pratham's father storyline. In the end, the revelation did nothing, although that's where the whole story started.

I very much agree it's a nice show - very different from all the toxic MLs and super toxic shaadis of the ITV world . Also for a channel like colors , this was a very different show . It's really surprising and commendable of the creatives of the show to survive 100 episodes under trp rat race yet not completely butchering any character or drastically changing story line to bring crappy plot twists/ sautans / toxicity.

Timeslot was the biggest problem . It probably could have had better trps at a different slot. We would never know .

Ishaan priyanshi were fabulous maan and doree . Good casting I would say .I don't think there were any offs reen drama as such . Ishaan seems a sorted guy and priyanshi is good too . Probably the age gap of the actors played a role in getting lesser interviews as the social media comments on couple interviews / shipping of onscreen pairs can get creepy sometimes and may be they wanted to avoid drama that way .

I so miss the long discussions on IF , but doree 2 fandom is so silent on IF that I stopped being frequent here ..

I would surely miss the show and will surely keep an eye on future projects - especially of Ishaan . He really stood out for me as Maan though I did watch him in ZMGA previously .

The ring finding ceremony reel which was viral on insta got me looking up for the name of the show and got me hooked to it . It was a huge stressbuster watching the show . Watching all the last episode reels on insta has made it all emotional . It has become a comfort show and surely would come back time and again for dose of laughter and break from everything .

Now that it has ended, I'll watch it at some point smiley36 hope to see Ishaan back on screen with some wonderful role again!! Maan Thakur was a good one! Loved the nuances.

When I see what's happened to Ram Bhavan TRP wise (it went from 1.1 at 8.30 to 0.6-0.7 at 10.30 in the same week after a slot switch), I do get the feeling a better time slot would've worked well for Doree. If not better, I'd say a more consistent time slot was the key- moving it around....10.30, 10.50, 11 then 10.30 again really didn't help.

P & I- I'm not going too deep into this because I'm not really bothered about offline interactions, but some of those BTS things were eye-opening. Not saying they were enemies, but you could certainly sense they weren't friends either. It was very Tom and Jerryish- whether that was banter or genuine snark/resentment depends on the onlooker.

Ishaan I think changed drastically somewhere during Dhruv Tara. Dunno if it was a bad breakup or something, but he became this sadhu/reticent type character and only preferred to interact with kids (most of his DT interviews at the end were with Evaan the child artiste).

If Ishaan was the reason behind the no interview together policy (which I suspect is the case), then you'd say P has good reason to be somewhat upset. The pairing was pretty popular, but a few interviews and small ship promotions on SM (nothing extraordinary, just the basic stuff like most showbiz folks do) would've probably taken it to another level. Apart from the Holi scenes, I don't think there was a single interview together.

Ah the reels- some of them were super popular with more than 1 million likes. Unfortunately Rangu played spoilsport and removed most of them. I say the reels did a 1000x better job at attracting new folks to the serial rather than Rangu's official account did. Many folks from Twitter got into the serial purely coz of those reels (the grihapravesh one, the one where he said Shubhi was his daughter, the ring one and others)

FWIW, Doree had a TRP of 0.5 on the last day (airing at 11pm)

Ram Bhavan, the show that took Doree's slot by moving from 8.30 to 10.30, is also going off air! Their last day of shooting is also done. They've got 0.6/0.7 at the 10.30 slot for the last couple of weeks, down from the 1.0-1.1 numbers they used to get at the previous slot.

This channel will kick out most half-decent shows, but stuff like that Parineeti will continue to air! smiley29
