Hello dear DSKians!
as we all know, 2007 is coming to an end, and we are all getting ready to welcome in the new year with all new hopes and dreams and definitely loads of great expectations!
So while we all do that, lets welcome in the new year here also.Lets end off this year and start off the new year with a bang!🥳
Event 1: The New Year's Contest
This contest is easy, simple, yet funfilled and bound to get your thinking hats on for fun! This contest deals with the one thing every person does during the New Year, and that is to make resolutions!
So in this contest, all you have to do is make a New Year's resolution that is unique, original, and something catchy. It is up to your discretion whether you want to make it funny or serious or just totally out of this world. The entries will then be posted up for voting and the resolution that caught the eye of most members wins and the member gets a special signature for the New Year which will be the envy of everyone. Plus the winner gets a special post made for him/her, and a special surprise prize!
All entries are to be submitted to me (~Ange.Noir~), or Mad (*mad*), or Kimi (Kimi_dost). Deadline for submission of entries will be on January 03, 2008.
Each member can submit up to three (3) entries each.
So what are you all waiting for? Start making up those New Year's resolutions and send them in!
Event 2: New Year's bash
Welcome in the New Year with a bash, and what better way than to party! A New Year's chat club will be created in a day or two for all members to gather in and welcome in the new year. Discuss anything you want and mingle with other members. Tell everyone of your New Year experiences till date, etc. A fun-filled topic for all members (spammers?) to partake in.
Lets all get together as a section and welcome in the New Year and show everyone how active we can be! We encourage everyone to participate in the activities to come and help make this New Year's welcome a success.
