Analysis #2Subject of Analysis: Episode #417
Analysis:
Shaurya's deep respect for his mom is so beautifully portrayed. Urmi is truly someone who needs to be celebrated. Yes, she is giving the award to her son for his accomplishments, but Shaurya has turned it around and made the occasion to celebrate the values and principles she has taught him. Shaurya may have opened a newspaper titled "Awaaz" but the true voice and inspiration comes from Urmi.
It's lovely to see Urmi recognize Diya in front of everyone and give her the due credit that she deserves. She could have easily said that the newspaper has reached this far only because of Shaurya. But no, she acknowledged that Diya has given an equal contribution and deserved to be recognized for it. Even without Diya being there physically, Urmi's support for her is commendable.
Shaurya's concern for Diya is so cute. He doesn't mind Diya doing her work with the passion that she has. It's the impulsive nature that bothers her. Yeah he said he wants all his staff members to be safe, but the way he was talking about Diya specifically, shows there is so much more.
This is a crucial part - Ishaan and Urmi are both seen in Shaurya. Despite not being Ishaan's son, he is displaying more qualities and character traits that are similar to him. It will be interesting to see how they react when he does something wrong.
Great, the poison that has been filled in by Damini has already spread throughout Ishaani. >.<
I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being more like Samrat. 😳
Anirudh is just so fed up. Poor guy, I don't know how he handles it. 😆
The paradox between both Shaurya and Ishaani will be very interesting to watch.
I have one question though. Why did Ishaani say that there are more things that a mother does other than give birth? Did Urmi not respond to her in the same way as she did with Shaurya?
I'm glad that Anirudh is able to see through his wife's actions and is not oblivious like all other husbands typically are. It's like I had said before. Urmi needs him as a parental figure to help guide her. Right now she sees Ishaani's hatred for her, which granted to some levels does exist. But the root of it all is not growing within Ishaani. It's branching out from Damini and that's where the real problem lies.
For 20 years Damini has channeled all her hatred and frustration against Urmi through Ishaani. There is little hope for her to change through any external forces apart from Ishaani herself.
I love the introduction for Diya.
She is depicted as a woman who is willing to take risks in her dedication for her work. However, like Shaurya had said, she acts impulsively without looking at the possible risks around her. Luckily, he is aware of this and is able to reach and save her in the nick of time.
This is very important as we all know Diya gets immensely hurt in the future. However, the wound she receives is from an external force; it's not something that she inflicts upon herself. In the introduction, Diya was about to cut a barbed wire and possibly injure herself. That is when Shaurya comes to save her. Again, when Diya gets raped, he wasn't able to save her. But he was there every moment of the way after that. He has been there to help "save" her from hurting herself any further.
The ambiguity behind Diya's face could allude to the fact Shaurya will be willing to help out anyone who is in trouble. Like he had said, he wishes all his staff members to be safe. The intentional decision of not showing Diya's face could be this or simply because they want to create more suspense.
Regardless, this was another nice episode.
However, Kunal's voice was coming out a bit slurred when he was speaking in the beginning. It could be because of the microphone as his normal voice was fine. The actress playing Ishaani, does not know how to be angry. It comes out rather funny. 😆
