Some people were seating surrounding a bonfire on the snow covered ground. At a far distance some school girls were playing on the snow. They were having so much fun of the bright sunny day after the stormy weather. A young man with blank eyes and exhausted face approached near the bonfire and sat on its other side. The other peoples who were seating on the other side of fire didn't notice him as they were busy in chatting with each other. Even he didn't make any effort to talk to them. he just sat there silently looking towards the huge ice peaks at front, glowing with the light silvery light of late afternoon. Looking at the blank expression of his face, everyone could detect that there was something really wrong with him. He seemed so gloomy, like he had lost everything. After some moment, even those peoples who were seating near the fire left the place, leaving that lonely man behind. Only he and his loneliness was seating near that bonfire. He couldn't still believe! Did he actually lose her forever?! Why?!! Why fate had snatched her from him?! Was his sin that much bigger?! His heart was crying out, scolding him for being so reckless, so stupid! For the whole day, raghu searched for antara at each and every place of shrinagar. At tulip garden, even in gulmarg's snow valley. He didn't left a single face. Just a moment ago he was madly rushing at the snow valley of gulmarg. The old shop owner whom they met on that date also said him that he didn't saw antara coming there but he didn't listened. He reached at the last spot of the snow ground where human could approach and beyond that there was only white desert. After approaching there he had crushed himself on the snow and looked towards sky with mad eyes. "ANTARAAA!!!!!!" he still remembered how his ad scream was reflecting at each and every corner of gulmarg valley. The scream seemed laughing back on him. Saying him that there was no one to answer him back. After losing all vague hopes he at last approached there. how he didn't know! Like some unknown pull had made his feet to come at that lonely snow covered ground, so far from the town area. Very few people cane at the spot. He saw some school girls playing at some distance. They seemed having fun in their picnic. But raghu didn't feeling to go in that chaos. He also tried antara's mobile so many times but again network problem and after coming out of the town his own mobile also came out of coverage area. So his phone was literally dead. The chill wind came from the ice peaks and ruffled his hairs. But it couldn't sooth the burn in his heart. The sound of her giggle, her tears, her angry cute face, her gloomy confused expression and most of all her calm soothing presence, everything was flashing in his mind. Everything seemed lifeless and dead without her. Did he actually lose all those things?!! Wouldn't she come back once?! Wouldn't she give him a last chance to apologize, to tell that how sorry he was for everything? But where could he find her?! Antara seemed so far from him. Out of his approach! When he was little boy and first time came to naik sadan, he used to miss his mother so much! Then ajji used to say that words to him, "agar tume kisi ki yaad aa raha hain to ankhein bandh karo aur dil se usey yaad karon... Wo jitna bhi door ho, tumhari dil ki awaz zarror us tak pahuchegi..." the words flashed in his mind all of sudden. He dropped his lids slowly and her crying face from last night flashed in his mind. His heart ached like hell. From that very first day, whenever he saw her crying he felt some restlessness arising in him. The night he saw her crying on the road near his garage after breaking the glass of her house's window, his all frustration, anger were just flown away by those tears. He felt so bad for threatening her, misbehaving with that poor girl. He wanted to know why he was crying?! Was it only because of his recklessness to her or something else? He just wanted to seat beside him forgetting their enmity, fights and tell her not to cry anymore. He was not mad at her anymore. He wouldn't do any further harm to her. but he couldn't say a single word and just continued to stare at her. he didn't know why he stopped that football from hitting her. but he didn't wanted anyone or anything to disturb her at that moment. Her tears, which was caused none other by anyone but as usual him. And last night he crossed his all limits. ek baar wapas ajjja... bas ek baar!' his heart screamed loudly. phir kabhi nai jane doonga... Aisi saza mat de... itna door mat ja ki tera aheshas bhi na mil sake...sach kahe raha hoon... maar jaunga!!...Aur kitna satayegi yeri?!! Jaan nikal raha hain... tere ko kuch samajh nahiii atta kya?!!...' he felt so powerless. Like each and every moment someone was sucking his life from him. Suddenly some giggles of kids and their approaching footsteps reached his ears. He became irritated as his silence was interrupted by their chirpy sound. "appa!! Catch me..." someone screamed. Uff, seemed no one would let him stay alone. "zara come here!! Don't run so fast on the snow..." an elderly but so sweet voice called. That voice!! Raghu's feature stiffened in sudden shock. Was it really... or again just a mere illusion?! He was so afraid to open his eyes. Suddenly a cold wind washed all over him, bringing that sweet sent, that heavenly presence for which he was craving for all day! That feeling to be near her! He quickly opened his eyes and then quickly turned around following the sound. At first the flame of fires blanked his vision for a while but then in between the burning logs of bone fire the most beautiful vision of the world got into his view. Beyond the flame of those fires, a heavenly smile flashed in his eyes. The flames were creating some heavenly aura to that scene. Just some mere distance from him, she was there, smiling cheerfully among those little girls. Like an angel fallen from sky. His eyes got stuck with that scene. He couldn't say a single word and his eyes got the most pleasant expression he ever had. He found his life at last. But still he couldn't make a single sound. He just sat there, frozen, looking at that beautiful angel. His antara!! yes it was her!! Smiling and jumping on the middle of those little girls, just like them. In pink salwar and golden bangles, she was looking like the lone tulip flower on the snow, dancing in touch of cheerful wind. Her long hairs were waving around her face just like those flames of fires, bold, pure and beautiful. He felt like her one glance brought everything back to him, his breath, his life, his heartbit which was rushing like mad at that moment.

"appa... come back quickly!!" zara and other girls took the ball from her hand and rushed back to the spot where her other friends were playing. Antara turned at their way and smiled heavily. Those cute girls made her day. Her all sadness was gone and she was feeling so light. Just like the sun smiled above the cloud after that stormy weather. She looked at the surroundings. She had reached at the last point of that snow ground while running behind zara and her two friends, rashmi and hamida. The snow under her feet feels so deep and cold. She was about to go back to them when suddenly a wind approached and ruffled her hairs. And at that moment she felt a very intense feeling. Her heart thudded loudly in some unknown feeling. She felt a very intense gaze on her. and he sensed that. She somehow knew that there was only a single man in the world who could make her that much restless. Slowly, she turned her face at an abrupt side. At some few distances from her, there was a bonfire on the ground and beside that a person was seating and looking towards her with deep, intense gaze, cherishing her each and every movement, each and every posture. RAGHU!!!! Blood drooped from her face and she became dumb. What was he doing there?! And how did he succeed to approach her even at that time like always? Was their path destined to collide at each and every moment of life? Antara saw raghu slowly stood up from the ground keeping his eyes on her. The last night memories again flashed in antara's mind and a sharp pain pinched her heart. Why he was there again?! What she had done to him?! why didn't he leave her alone?! Did he again came there to accuse her or tease her? her face saddened a bit. But when she observed his eyes, she got a very different vibration. There was not a single glint of mock or anger like last night. There were so many mix feelings of pain, confusion, amusement, please adoration and the burning intensity. Antara felt like she was melting in that intense gaze. For a moment she forgot her all pain and got lost in that eyes. Suddenly, startling her yet again, he rushed madly towards him stepping over that powdery snow. God what he was doing?! He would surely sleep! Thinking that, antara also rushed to him. When there was just a cm distant between them antara controlled her speed and was about to aware raghu about the slippery snow but before she could make any conversation, raghu approached there just like a meteorite and crushed her delicate body against his hard frame, hugging her tighter than ever! Like he wanted to hide her forever in his arms from the world! Antara stood there, stunned!! Her eyes were wide and amused by his sudden activity and that so gripping hug! She couldn't resist or stop him to do so. Raghu's hand caressed on her back madly and pressed her tightly against him that it was almost about to crush her bones. Antara almost started to suffocate at first. Raghu wanted to make sure that she was really in his arms, not just a mere illusion again. But her softness against his hard feature, her breath, her uneven heartbeat, and her hairs which were tickling on his skin made sure that she was really antara in her mortal form. A pleasant feeling soothed all over him and eased his each and every pain. He closed his eyes and sunk his face on her bear neck and breathed heavily taking her scent. . Raghu felt like her smell was injecting his lost life into him. Antara was numb in his tight hold and trying to understand the unease and complicated situation. But that action of her made her shiver in his hold. His breath against her bare skin was making such an unknown and intense effect in her nerves. A deep breath escaped from her as he snuggled deep in her. Her hand automatically moved upward and touched his shoulders. "raghu?!" she asked in a low confused voice. Her voice was also a bit shaking due to the shiver his breath causing in her nerves. Suddenly raghu broke the hug and cupped her face. he came so close to her face and look deeply in her eyes. The burning intensity made her numb. "bahut maza ata hain na tere ko ye sab karte huye?!!" he said suddenly in a frustrated voice. "hnnn??!!" she just mumbed in confusion. Her wide eyes were fixed in his. "tu yahin chahta hain na ki apun humesha tere piche humesha pagalon ke mafik race lagata rahein?!! He said madly. Antara was silently listening to his mad blabber and suddenly she pushed his hand away from her with a hard look and said, "ho gaya tumhara?! Ab meri baat suno..." She said coldly causing him to stop his blabber midway. "main yahan iss liye ayi thi ta ki apne problems se thora door rahe sakoon... Samjhey?!... aur waisey bhi mere jaisi ek characterless larki ke liye tumhe fikar karne ki koi zarurat nahin... tumhara naam kharap ho jayega... And please mujhe apne haal pe chor doo..." Saying this, antara turned away and started to move towards the other side of snow ground. "misscal sun to..." she heard his eager voice from behind. "kuch nahi sun na hain mujhe..." she said in a hard voice and continued her steps. Raghu caught his hand and forced her to look at him. "tere ko sun na parega misscal. Kyun ki aaj teri naii chalne wali... Samjhi?!" he said in determined voice. Antara looked at his face with hard look and said, "ab kya kahena hain raghu... ab kahene ke liye kuch to bacha hi nahi hain..." the pain flickered in her eyes made his geart flutter. "dekh misscal, wooo tera dost... wo ayan... usne phone kiya... tabhi mere ko pata chala ki uss ne to pahele se hi shadi ki laddo kha rakha hain...apun bekar mein hi tum dono ki khichri bana raha tha... too wo apun tere ko wo... Bara wala SORRY hain! ab bahut ho gaya... cha lab maaf kar de na yaar..." he said poorly. Antara looked at him with an irritating gaze and took back her hand without saying a word. Then she again turned back and started to walk on her way. "oye misscal sun too... ab kya huya..." he ran behind her. antara wanted to get away from him as soon as possible so she hurried her steps. At that moment he hit the stranger who was coming from front. The bag felt from his hand. "ohh I am sorry!!" antara said in apology and lifted his bag from ground. "koi baat nahin..." he said and took the bag. He was about to go on his when his eyes fell on raghu. He became slightly amused. "arey bhaijaan aap?" he said in confused voice. Raghu identified the person. He was the one whom he met on the shore of daal lake. "arey bhai tum idhar?" he asked with a huge grin. "haan main to apne gaon wapas jaa raha tha par ye kya?" his face moved towards antara's confused gaze. He smiled a little, "to mautarma, aap hi hain wo jinhe ye pagalon ki tarah pure shrinagar mein dhund rahe thee..." He said with a smile. "kya?!!" antara became dazed and looked towards raghu. "haan, puchiye mat kya kya kaar nama kiye hain inho ne aap ko dhunte huye... kaha gayi thi aap inhe chorke... pata hain aap ko dhundne ke liye akele shikara le kar dal lake mein nikal pare the aur wo bhi uss wakt jab tej tufani hawa chal rahi thi...!!!" he said with a smile. antara's eyes widened more and she looked at raghu with dumb gaze. Raghu continued to look at her with silent gaze. "arey kya zarurat thi ye sab batane ke liye... Apun kuch khas naii kiya... waisey bhi apun ko adat par chuki hain iss yeri ke piche bhagne ki..." he said with a sarcastic smile. "thik hain bhaijaan aur behenji... ab hum chalet hain... nahi too gaon pauch ne mein der ho jayegi..." saying those words, the man went away from them. antara continued to look at raghu with bewildered eyes. Raghu scratched his head. "arey, apun woo..." but before he could finish his word antara came closer to him and gave a light push. "kya hain ye haan?!! Tum daal lake mein chale gaye they wo bhi tufan ke wakt?!! Dimag kharap hi gaya hain tumhara?!" she asked in a quite angry voice. "misscal meri baat to sun..." he tried to explain but she didn't give a single chance. "mujhe pata hain... tum ye sab iss liye karte ho ta ki mujhe bura lage aur main tumhe maaf kar doon... yahin na?!.. sab samajhti hoon main..." she was about to burst out when raghu pressed his hand against her nouth tightly and said, "chup!! Bilkul chup samjhi... bahut bol liya tune..." he said looking straightly in her eyes, making her startled again. He slowly moved his hand from her face without shifting his eyes from her. "to kya karta apun bata?!!... tu na siddiqui mansion mein thin a ghar mein... Daal lake mein dhund ne ayaa to sun ne mein aya koi larki udhar pani mein gir ke off ho gayi..." He stopped for a while. Might be to control his anxiety and fear he felt while thinking about the moment. Antara was still looking at his face, silently, gauzing his every expression and trying to clear her confusion. "misscal, bappa ki kasam yaar... Akha life mein apun ko kabhi itna tension naaiii huya jitna aaj tune diya... meri saans atak gayi thi uss larki ke barein mein sun ke...mere ko laga kit u hain..." he controlled the fear in his voice with so much effort. She at last got the courage to say something. "kaha kahan gaye the tum mujhe dhundne?! Dekho jhut mat bata na..." she demanded. He laughed a little and said, "har uss jagah pe jahan tu mujhe kaal leke gayi thi... Aur kuch jaan na hain?.." he said honestly. Her eyes widened looking at his little smirk. "kya zarurat thi ye sab kar ne ki? Main samhal sakti hoon apne aap ko. Bachi nahi hoon jo kahi kho jaungi aur wo bhi apne sahar mein. "arey wohi toh... tere ko pata hain mere zuban ka locha hain... jo bhi bolne jaoon humesha banduk ki goli nikal ti hain... to kyun kiya aisa haan?! Kyun subha mere ko chorke akele nikal pari haan?... Dekh agar tere ko gussa ayein to apun pehele hi kaha hain mere pe pehele jaisa chilla, ya ho sake to waise hi solid ek tamacha maar jaisa uss din basti mein mari thi... ya fir bol apun kaan pakar ke uthak baithak kare kya?!" he was about to hold his ear. Antara was laughing silently listening to his innocent way to convince her. "misscal, bas ek baat, fir kabhi aisa naii karna... aaj tu agar nahi milti na toh..." his voice suddenly chocked a bit. "arey tum pagal ho pata hain! tumne kaise soch liya ki main apni jaan de dungi uss larki ki tarah? Antara kaul utni bhi kamzor nahi hain samjhe mr?! mujhe abhi bhi bahut jina hain... uss siddiqui aur uske pappu bte ko jo pakarna hain...!" she said with a confident smile looking towards the horizon where the sun was about to set. The ice peaks had became golden and the golden light reflected on her hazels. His heart thudded loudly again and that time he didn't became confused. Cause, it was almost clear to him that what actually happened to him. he knew everything had changed in his life from that day. He realized everything so clearly. "chalein?!" he asked her. She looked at him with a smile and nodded. Both of them went towards the roadside side by side.

While they were at the midway on the road, it was almost dark. Antara was a bit cconfused as raghu didn't make a single conversation on the way back to home. He seemed like drifted into deep thought. However, even antara was not feeling like talking. At that moment, suddenly some little white particles dropped from the above on them. Suddenly the weather became so chilly. "abey upar se kaun powder fenk raha hain?!.." raghu said in irritating voice. "p\Powder nahin hain yee..." Antara said in amused voice taking the snow particles in her hand. "Snowfall ho rahi hain..." she said in amusement. "kya??!! Abhi ye barf ko abhi gurna tha sar ke upar?!!" he said in more irritation. "chup raho na tum!!" antara rolled her eyes. "pata nahin iss time achanak snowfall kyun ho raha hain... zarror wadi mein kahin kuch bahut acha ho raha hain... momma kaheti thi jab wadi mein kahin kuch bahut acha ho to pariyan aise hi bin mausam jaannat se barf ki barsat karti hain..." antara said with a smile. "ohhh to ab ye parikatha suna ne baith gayi tu?!!" he asked in more irritation. "raghu!! dekho hum sab ko pta hain ki baraf actual mein kyun parti hain... par sapne dekhne mein kya burayi hain?!" she said with a childish smile and closed her eyes looking at the above. The tender flakes of snow fell on her smiling face. Raghu continued to look at her face, adoring her each and evry posture, going crazy on her breathtaking smile. that smile which clearly showed him the light. For these whole long years, he was going through the dark maze. At last he found her light in that beautiful valley of kashmir, in her warm hazels, in her lightning smile.
