Chapter 2

*Note: Anything in RED is a character's thought*

"Hi meri kismat" Antara said taking off her glasses. "Raghu can you please look at the computer it froze again" Antara shouted getting up from the chair.

"Ha Miss Call, I'm coming. Hold up the game is almost done" Raghu shouted from the other room.

I couldn't believe that god partnered me up with Raghu out of all people. "I guess god doesn't love you" Raghu said, but he didn't look to happy about the category of romance either.

"Whatever you will do. Let's get started! Meet me at the library at 2pm tomorrow" I said walking away.

"Oye suno. Don't ever tell me what to do" Raghu said snapping his fingers at me. "meet me at my place at 1pm" he said

"No ways" I shouted "it has to be at a public place" I said.

"Kyun? (Why?) Scared I'm going to do something to you" Raghu said stepping closer to me

"Don't come any closer" I said warning him. However, he didn't stop. I slowly started backing away from him, but he kept coming closer. "Dekho Raghu ya stupid natak band karo (Look Raghu, stop this stupid joke)" I said, but my words came out softly as if my breath was being snatched away from me. I kept moving backwards, but finally hit a wall and had nowhere to go. I tried to escape, but he leaned in and blocked my way of escaping by putting his hands against the wall on either side of me. I was trapped in between him and the wall with no way out. "Please Raghu stop it", but he still didn't say anything. As his lips came closer to mine, the world around me seemed to have disappeared. I couldn't control my emotions or my body. He pushed me up against the wall, leaving no room for air. My chest was pressed up against his and I could feel his heart beating in line with mine. I slowly looked up to see him gazing at me. I slowly closed my eyes as I felt his breath intermingling with mine and the gap between us was getting smaller and smaller.

"Don't worry mein churels ko chutha nay (I don't touch churels - ghosts -)" Raghu said releasing me and walking out the door. "And don't forget my place at 1pm, here's my number. Text me" he said throwing a card in my direction. Once he left I let out a big breath. "What the hell just happened?" I scrunched hair up in confusion and looked at the card. I picked it up and took a look at it. I looked back at the door and just shook my head, I couldn't believe what had just happened.

"Hey Nikki! I am back" I announced locking the door behind me.

"Oh hey there Antara, how was class?" She asked giving me a hug.

"yaar don't even get me started. That guy Raghu is in my class and I had to sit next to him. That jerk called me a churel? DO I LOOK LIKE A CHUREL TO YOU?" I asked

"Of course not" Nikki said chuckling. I gave her a like slap on the shoulder.

"Nikki you are mean" I said looking away from her angry

"Yaar, you know I am joking" she said instigating me to continue telling her about my day.

"So yeah that wasn't the worst part. I got partnered with Raghu to do a project and it is on romance novels. Honestly felt like someone just through me off a cliff"

"So what are you going to do about the project" she asked heading to the kitchen to get dinner.

"Well I have to meet him at his place at 1pm tomorrow. By the way do you have your pepper spray?" I asked setting up the table for dinner.

"Wow, his place. He made a move that fast, unbelievable. Yeah I think I still have it I will give it to you after dinner" she said bringing the food to the table. We both sat down and continued to chat about our day. After dinner finished we went to our room. Nikki was scavenging through her stuff to find the pepper spray.

"Arey baba, did you find it yet?" I asked waiting impatiently. I was seriously not about to go to that Raghu's place without any way to defend myself. I mean I can also bring a pocketknife or something, but I think I would hurt myself.

"Found it" she shouted throwing the can at me. I caught it and throw it into my school bag for tomorrow.

"Babe your computer is fixed" Raghu said walking up to Antara and kissing her hair from behind. Antara turned around and frowned at him. "Kya hua babe(What happened babe?)"

"Meine tumse kitne bar bol hai kay mujhe babe maat kaho (How many times have I told you not to call me babe?)" Antara said standing up and grabbing her notebook to go to her desk. Raghu came behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Kya kar rahe tum(What are you doing?)" she said wiggling in his grasp.

"Sorry Antara, I won't call you babe anymore teek hai (fine)?" Raghu asked hugging her tightly.

"Fine. Leave me now I have work to do" She said patting him on the cheek. Raghu grabbed her notebook out her hands and threw it on the table. He spun her around so that she was facing him.

"Why don't you ever make time for me? I know I graduated and it's your last year, but come on I have should have some importance in your life" He said. Antara smiled and put her arms around his neck.

"Oh so you are not important to me?" She said smiling. Raghu put on a puppy dog face and nodded his head.

"You don't care about me at all" He said and hugged as he snuggled his face into her hair. *God her hair smells so good. I miss her so much*

"No not at all" she said pulling him closer to her. He moved hair away from her neck and grazed his fingers upon it and looked up at her face. She had her eyes closed and just stood there smiling at her and adoring her beauty.

"Have I ever told you how cute your nose is?" he asked smiling. Antara opened her eyes slowly and gazed at him. She her shook her head in a "no" motion. He smiled and leaned forward to plant a kiss on her nose. Antara chuckled at the motion of his. "Have I ever told you have beautiful your eyes are?" he asked again gazing into her eyes as he slowly started to walk forward pushing Antara back until he had her up against the wall. She once again shook her head in a "no" motion. He tilted his head up and kissed her eyes close. She planted a small smile on her face and hugged him tightly as she shied away. He laughed and squeezed her tightly. He moved apart from her as she looked down too shy to look into his eyes. "Have I ever told you how sweet your lips are? He asked lifting her chin up so his eyes can meet hers. She once again shook her head in a "no" motion. He leaned into her as they both slowly closed their eyes.

*His breath on my lips were intoxicating me. This is exactly how I felt when we first met. Wait when we first met'MY STORY*

Antara quickly opened her eyes and pushed Raghu aside. "Yaar I need to finish my paper and you need to go Nikki will be here soon" she said walking to her computer and putting her glasses back on. Raghu walked up to Antara and stood behind her chair.

"I hate you" he said kissing her on the cheek and walked out the door.

"Hey Raghu, it's me Antara. When you get this message can you please call me back? Thanks" I said ending the voicemail. First Raghu tells me to text him in order to get his address and when I text him he tells me to call him back in 30 minutes because something's wrong with his phone. It's been almost over an hour and I have called already 3 times. Right now it's 12:40pm and he wants me to meet as his place. Is he kidding me? God he makes me so angry *ring ring* Finally! "Hello"

"Ha...misscall, what's your name again?" he asked.

"First of all don't call me misscall and my name is Antara. Did you not hear the voicemail?" I asked frustrated.

"Na, I don't pay attention to those stuff." Raghu said laughing "Oye MachMach, jeep nikhal" he yelled over the phone. Did he not realize that I was on the other side. God did that hurt my ear. Bevakuf kai kah(idiot). "Ha MissCall?I mean Antara I will come pick you up meet me in front of the library at 1:30" he said hanging up the phone. The hell! God I couldn't believe this guy. He was unbelievable I swear. I grabbed my back and headed over to the library.

"The hell where is he?" I said scanning the area. I checked my watch and noticed that it was already 1:45pm. I have been here for 30 minutes. This is honestly ridiculous. I stood as a kept looking around and at my watch just watching the time slip away. It was already 3:30pm and I was getting tired and hungry so I decided to head over to the caf. If he arrived he can call me. I walked into the caf and you won't believe who I saw. That freaking jerk was sitting at a table with MachMach and some girl.

"Yaar I think you should go now, who churel kabse intezaar kar rahi hai (That churel has been waiting for a long time)" MachMach said taking a sip of his coffee. After he finished and looked up and he saw me. He spit the coffee out of his mouth and the girl in front of him and Raghu screamed.

"What the hell was that?" she said wiping away the coffee from her dress.

"Oye bhai, udhar dekho (look over there)" MachMach said pointing over to where I was. Raghu turned and spotted me.

"Shoot" Raghu said scrunching his hair. He walked up to me looking in different directions. "Who kya hai Miss Call kai MachMach aur hum ko bhuk lagai thi toh isiliye hum (MissCall me and MachMach were hungry so that is why)" *slap* I didn't even give him the chance to complete what he wanted to said.

"RAGHU I WAS WAITING FOR YOU FOR ALMOST 4HOURS TO WORK ON THIS PROJECT. YOU TOLD ME TO MEET YOU IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY AT 1:30. I HAVE BEEN THERE SINCE 1:45PM. IT'S ALREADY 3:45PM" I yelled shoving my phone in his fae so he can see it. "I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU FOR THE PAST 2 HOURS AND YOU WERE HERE WITH THIS THING" I said pointing out the girl he was sitting with because she was dressed up as if she was going to the club. "AND THAN INSTEAD OF SAYING SORRY YOU ARE GIVING ME EXCUSES. WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM? IF YOU DO THIS AGAIN I SWEAR IM GOING TO KILL YOU" I yelled. Raghu couldn't look up at me, he just kept looking at the floor. I couldn't understand what was happening, but what I knew was that I was pissed off. I turned around and started walking away when all of a sudden I felt my head getting lighter. I grabbed my head as it started hurting and everything in front of me was just getting blurry and the noise around was becoming faint. "Miss..."

Precap: "Why am I here?" I asked looking around to find no one in the room. This place looked unfamiliar. Where the hell was I? I threw the bed sheets off of me and got out of bed. I was about to get my bag from off the chair in the corner when I noticed I was wearing different clothes than what I was wearing earlier. "AHHH"
