^^
for that she must atleast confess to sooraj what were her dreams and tell frankly she will not commit until she achieves it & request sooraj to marry other girl and move on..still if sooraj wants only sandhya he can wait for her or even help her in her studies... but she has completely broken his heart 😔 that too when he was looking at shadow as if he is lusting her ... i totally dnt understand what are sandhya's plans ..
i agree sandhya might have tried hard to love sooraj but she couldnt and after seeing kirthi she is completely frustrated that she could never reach that benchmark ... but she has to look from sooraj's pov also 😔 ...she should not have shattered the man who supported her 😔 ...no need to love but respect his feelings...

I just don't know what to make of Sandhya if she just told Suraj shes not ready for this and she needs more time to adjust then I would have understood but now she makes out she has maybe no intention of building a relationship with him at all so why stay in the Rathi's at all. Ok shes doesn't want to leave with her brother but why stay at the Rathi's and attempt to be the perfect bahu when its not for her. Sandhya should up and leave and stop living of the Rathi's when she has no intention of being part of their family.

Yes Sandhya has dreams, yet she fails to discuss them with Suraj. Had she explained her dreams to him then even he would understand that she wants to accomplish something before adapting herself to a relationship and family.

As I'm not happy with Sandhya I'm also not happy with Suraj, he lets Bhabo completely insult Sandhya and says nothing till a long time afterwards. Sandhya had to walk out the room before he opened his mouth.

Sandhya also needs to stop comparing herself to other beedni's everyone is different, some take a while to adjust and some in a small space of time. If Sandhya is just sticking to this marriage out of honour of her family then she needs to stop doing it as whats the point when everyone else is miserable

Thank you for such a clear and succint post on Sandhya's dilemma. I wish I was able to write without sounding like a drone.

I have used your post to help make a point here:

I hope you forgive me as I should've asked for your permission before doing this. I'm so sorry! It's just that you explain the situation so concisely that I just had to add it.

Is it ok if I leave it there? I will remove the link if you are not happy with my use of it.

may be sandhya thinks that bhabho will give her a shield of good bheendini if she wins ,which she could show it to her new sasural that she got this good bheendini award 😆 ...for sandhya this is just one more subject in her semester ,may be if tomorrow bhabho says "bheendini u won my heart" then sandhya will shout "yippee!!!!" and leave that house happily 😆

Thank you all for replying...I enjoyed reading all your posts😊...

I think Sandhya said she can never be the type of beendni bhabho or sooraj imagined...Remember the 1st promos of Dabh? : Sooraj says that he wants a choodi chanakking , reshmi sari wearing wife who serves his mom...I think Sandhya means that she'll never be that kind of wife, so maybe it's right that she clarifies that point and Sooraj also understands it for once and for all ...Both of them need to put aside their dreams of their ideal partners, Sooraj's of the ideal bahu and Sandhya's of the powerful collector/judge and remade into the reality of the very different but reall persons they are married to now...

I also dont think Sooraj's character is weak AT ALL...In fact he is one of the strongest characters...

Which is harder to do?

Remain respectfully silent when it is much easier to give bhabho or sandhya a piece of his mind?
Stand and fight when it is much easier to walk away from his marriage?
Remain dignified although your entire family questions your abilty to gain your wife's affections when it is much easier to be violent like Vikram?
Say no to himself when it is much easier to further guilt-trip Sandhya into gaining the upper hand?

Anyone can scream and shout...It's very easy to be "assertive" which usually translates into being a bully...Again and again he shows how strong he is by turning the other cheek...Ultimately,this kind of love cannot not produce results in the form of a great relationship with his wife in future...

Thanks for being such a good sport and letting me use your post. You're a star ! ==>⭐️

I agree with you in that Suraj is definitely not a weak character. (Setting aside the fact that I'm rather in love with Anas Rashid right now) This Suraj character is a freakin saint! The ideal son and the ideal husband. Please excuse my crassness here, but I'd jump his bones in a heartbeat. Then again, would I really if I was to go through what Sandhya has had to go through. Hella question innit?

I don't think so. They have developed a friendship of sorts that much is obvious. There seem to have been a few moments of attraction here and there, but I don't think Sandhya is totally aware of what this could be due to the fact that they're always under so much scrutiny. The daily Bhabho barrage and interruptions makes her so self conscious and now in deference to her actions Suraj is exercising the same distance.

I'm rather glad that they didn't fall into each other's arms so soon after Bhabho's drama. It would've proved B right and we sooo cannot have that!

Of course, this love could have developed faster if they didn't have all the trials and tribulations, but then we won't have DABH would we now.

No indeedy...In a time when "love' in serial land seems to be dominated by men who treat women very badly in the name of luvve, the thing that attracted me to this show ( other than the awesum music - The "morree piiiyaaa" bit makes me tear up every time) is the gentle, yesteryear olde-wolde type of relationship between the leads,,,Such respect and dignity between them is a pleasure to watch...Which is why these "consummate NOW" and purely TRP garnering "kundsnan" scenes make me wince with its crudity , regardless of the fact that I love seeing Anas with his kit off 😛 😆!!!

i kinda agree with u, being a career minded girl myself, i understand that it was not fair what happened with her, i wud have probably left that stupid family long ago and ran off to achieve my dreams. But from the point of view of an audience i felt really sad for suraj, he deserves a loving wife, i mean, what is his fault in all of this?He supports n cares for her come what may, n she tells him that she cud never love him in the future, that's rather too harsh, if nothin else, she shud have atleast considered his feelings for her(which is pretty much obvious) b4 saying such things!!!

Lulu kya yeh log Ro-marnse ko zara chance denge?

Will these guys give romance a chance?🤔 That Lessons 101 on how to wash your husband had me gritting my teeth. UGH!🤢

No zalbaazi necessary right. Lets all give it time and opportunity to grow. Suraj loves her, give her the opportunity to develop the same.😍

Oh and you'll have to wait behind me in that line lovey. I already grabbed no.1. 😉
