Sooraj took "rejection" so well unlike we forum phangurls, eh?

While we fretted and worried and overreacted at the perceived injustice against him, he calmly and collectedly accepted the facts and chose not to make a big deal out of it...Hence he remained happy & level & was able to treat Sandhya right instead of turning bitter & having a migraine induced by a sleepless teary night & plotting revenge...What an eggcellent attitude to have !!!

After watching today's episode I felt that she loves him and hence why she will make the decision to leave him so that he can be happy and perhaps live a happy marital life with someone else. We all know that sometime in future Suraj will help her achieve her ambition but I want Sandhya to realise and tell Suraj that she loves him before it happens otherwise it will be like if you support me with my studies I will start loving you... But then Suraj also needs to open his mouth that he is in love with her. It's all good when they say to each other that I respect you but like Preeti says love is not a one way street.

I think Sandhya knows that Sooraj loves her...Wasnt there someplace where she said 'I cant be a proper wife to him despite knowing his feelings towards me' ? He also stares soulfully at her regularly and he takes such pleasure in the tiny litle crumbs of affection she throws at him that I dont think she is in any doubt...

About Sandhya being in love with Soraj, I'm not so sure...She respects him and is grateful to him and maybe even likes him but I feel she's a way off love at this point...But never fear ! It's just a matter of time...Sandhya will fall for Sooraj's unrelenting, unselfish love 😊

The music...OH YES THE MUSIC!!! Man...I can't believe I haven't brought this up before. The music is simply outstanding! I choke up every time as well. Kailash Kher and Subha Mugdal's voices have seared themselves into my brain. Have heard it so many times now and still can't get enough of it. Plus, I love how they've changed it at times to suit the setting. Another massive plus for the show!

Hmmm - its arranged marriage not love... that too a decision thrust upon her by her jerk of a brother at point in her life where Sandhya was extremely vulnerable. Despite this she is trying her level best to honour her commitment but, there are "emotions" she cannot manufacture. Its got nothing to do with respect... you can't force "love" and she is not "in love" with Suraj as yet. Also, she is still suffering sadmaa from losing her parents and her IPS dream. She's compromised a looot and I don't say that to denigrate Sooraj for being a halwaai... but, its not like she has had a true scoop to reflect on her feelings bin stress and family drama/trauma here so far?

Also...maybe Sandhya feels she will mentally never be whole until and unless she fulfills her dream, which right now seems impossible...

I believe in "love", but I totally get that its not "everything" ... many people have other things they prioritize in live way more. Like education, like career, etc. Same maybe the case with Sandhya... she herself feels incomplete without that IPS part of her identity and until she is complete she may not be emotionally ready to have an intimate/love relationship.

The music is the only thing that kept bringing me back to the show...I hear such longing and pain whenever I hear the track...It makes me all 😭....I like the new violiny one they made for the sad bits...I'm not too keen on Sooraj's personal "I'm in lowwwe" track though...The "la-la-la-la-eh-hey-hey-hey" one😆... Oh well, it cant all be perfect 😊

Nice post, AnjanaYYZ ! I agree with you wholeheartedly...If the poor girl could have 5 minutes to sit and reflect, she may begin to "see" Sooraj...Instead it's all 15 days to be married, 15 days to be vetted, potions, pills, inlaws, friends, cooking, cleaning, shopping and kundsnaaning 😆...I'm glad that there's no possibilty of a child too to add to her laundry list!

And regarding your 50cents of unsolicited thought :

You are most definitely very berry welcome to share them AnjanaYYZ 😊...As if I (or anyone else for that matter) have been putting forward my 2 cents due to intense public demand!😆...That certainly hasnt stopped me though!😆
