Hey Shweta,
First a big thank you and a hug đ€from me for opening up a sensible topic. Before I say anything, I stopped watching DMG a couple of weeks back, so I haven't been watching or even reading the updates, cos personally its reached its lowest peak for me now. It has been going down hill since end of Feb onwards, but June was a drag.
Anyway so coming back to the post, I decided to check out the so called hot promo that everyone was raving about, and I was apalled to see it, just to increase their TRP's. I did not watch the episode, but after checking out your post I thought let me have a look at the entire scene, and after watching the scene I am just speechless. I don't know if I should even open my mouth about what I actually thought about the scene, as there are many younger members in the forum. It was just cheap, and I agree the hug was fine, even the kiss on the forehead and on the cheek by Armaan was fine. But the rest of the scene was just vulgar. (btw wanted to make it clear, what I mean by vulgar; bad make up and dress can also be called vulgar and that is what I am trying to say about the rest of the scene) They could have shown the same scene with more elegance if they wanted instead it looked all wrong and was just a gimmick to raise their TRP's. I hope they succeeded in their effort.
I am sorry alot of people might disagree and say its love, but I agree with Shweta that the girl who did not want to kiss him, and is denying the fact that she loves him is now all of sudden having such desires. What exactly are the creatives trying to imply?? Don't the creatives know there are more younger audiences watching the show, as Karan has a huge young audience folllowing.
Many might disagree and say that younger audiences are not so young anymore, yes I agree but that does not mean that they show such scenes, there is a way to shoot such scenes without making it look cheap. A kiss is beautiful when shown between two people in love, when shown in a right way, I have no problem in showing a kiss if done in a proper and aesthetic way.
I saw a lot of people comparing it to the Jan scene, but I personally thought that was one of the scenes which was shot aesthetically, and at that point of time they were together, as in going out and there was an ambience set in that scene. It was the first time he had seen her in a skirt and she had seen him topless.
Now coming to the precap, I have not seen it and I don't think I want to watch it, they have just ruined the show, and the charcters completely. I think if I write anymore, I might just end up saying something which will not be so appropriate. Shweta hun an amazing post.

PS: these are my view points, and no offence intended.
