You know Unnati... (if you ever read this...)

Publicly proclaiming your views against an identifiable group or individual, which has an impact on others is considered to be under the hate law, and against the Criminal Code.

Last I checked, IF = public.

Just a head's up.

This is a sensitive issue, and you DO NOT bring it up over something as petty as DMG. It's just a SHOW, 9/11 attacks, however, is not. It deals with people's lives, feelings, emotions, families, friends. It's really disgusting.

No probs :)

The hate law is seen to be so crucial that even if Unnati came back and said, "well it's my freedom of speech, I can say whatever" it wouldn't work as a defence. You just can't publicly hate against people. Sure, go ahead hate on others privately in a convo w/ someone else, but not in front of EVERYONE, because it will have an impact on others; especially a topic such as 9/11.

So Unnati, another head's up... don't come in and say "it's my freedom of speech/expression/opinion" 'cause it ain't gonna work. LOL.

Lol dang you're really not giving her any leeway here. The poor girl's running out of excuses, and oh someone else seems to have done well in their law course ;p

Anyways, Unnati your best option is to apologize :)
Although I think we should all report her as well...she needs to be punished for this on at least IF.

Naah, I just did a presentation on the hate law and freedom of expression this past week, so it's fresh in my brain. It's kinda weird that I witnessed such a situation 2 days right after I presented... Maybe I can use this example for my test when a relevant question pops up (kidding obv).

Yeahhhh, she should probably come here and apologize before Zainab comes here and charges her 'cause Zainab has the full right to. And, Zainab would win the case if a lawsuit is filed. jusss sayin'.

Come on Unnati. Man up and apologize. :/

I got pretty pissed when I read that. I KNOW people who live in NYC. I know people who had to move to Canada after the horror of 9/11 and what they faced in New York. So come on Unnati - accept what you did was wrong, and apologize.

@Bold: I think you mean woman up ;p
Well it's you hence I wouldn't expect you to use an IF example but after the craziness I have seen on this forum, I might actually believe some people would use this as a real life example.

Zainab suing? Hmm I guess it's her choice but it's a pretty scary scenario for Unnati :|

The member's stupidity is utterly apparent and I hope she is scared shitless somewhere. Hence why she can't come out and "play".
