Well, coming back to topic. Seert this thought has troubled me for a long time. Aren't fans behaving cruelly if they deny Armaan the right to look for happiness elsewhere again in life. If we see it from the viewpoint of some AR fans who will defy any logic regarding this, it is pointless to even mention it to them. They will say Armaan belongs with Riddhima and that is Period. nothing doing apart from that. They are ready to see him in The DevD, psychotic lover, shattered man mode his entire life than seeing him develop feelings for another girl. Pretty useless arguement here you see.
But yes as a person who at the end of the day will want to see somewhat logical track, Something that I can relate to and not a weepy tale of heartbreak and trauma forever (frankly it doesn't happen in today's day and age and if it does will not even be appreciated. whoever ruins one's own life over his or her ex will be labelled a loser in life and is basically a failed person, which Armaan is not), definitely Armaan is behaving as a very sane and brave person. And no, i disagree that he has started admiring another woman too soon and too easily. He has done nothing of that sort. I think everything has taken its own time. And as we can see, he is not entirely over his heartbreak yet. But shilpa is a beautiful ray of hope and I am overjoyed that Armaan started taking a good notice of her finally. She has been there in his subconscious mind since a while now but yeaterday Armaan has acknowledged the fact to himself. It is actually beautiful to watch how you give up hope in life, how you think you will never be the same again and then when something starts happening and before you realize, you have already surrendered yourself to the process of healing.
The direction was beautiful and I too loved how Shilpa is filling all the spaces of Riddhima's memory in Armaan's heart slowly but gradually.
