Why Can't Armaan Move On? - Page 5

HEy Seert u always know that we have lot of diff of opinion...... n sorry abt the last time dear went over board........ was frustrated......

Ya Armaan can move on.. Woh nahi toh koi aur sahi... koi aur nahi toh.. koi aur milljayega....
Wah kya life hai....... Riddhima ki behan Shilpa.. Shilpa nahi toh. Sukriti.....

Yeh bhi koi life hai....... Riddhima left Armaan ok.. she was forced...... Agar kal if shilpa leave Armaan For some other reasons... Will say to Armaan .. shilpa nahi to Sukriti........ Move on Armaan we are with u..... No right....

Life is not about loving the person. life is about loving n having the same person who will stay with u till ur last breath n love u as never b4...... Can u grantee me that shilpa will love Armaan like Riddhima did nor.. will she love him more than the love which he has for riddhima..... more than that......

AGar Kal Riddhima jaisa uski behan nikali toh..................


AS an AR fan.. i fell like through out sid n shilpa out of their life n uniting them......

OK i'm one of those few who had a problem with today's armaan. i don't have an issue with him moving on, or falling in love. but its the way they're showing him 'moving on' is pathetic. =\
i REALLY REALLY wanted to see a friendship track before the entire love thing. i wanted him to build a stronger bond with Shilpa, of friendship where he would confide in her and just TALK without the messed up eye locks and dupatta crap, something we never got to see with AR. but like they showed today with all the flashbacks, they're repeating AR with ARSH now, and that's what i have a problem with. i did NOT want to see him feeling for Shilpa just yet. its like on one hand he's dealing with his feelings for Riddhima and on the other he's ALREADY 'feeling' for Shilpa??

For me, ArSh started off with a BANG and they were unlike every other couple. They didn't match up to AR for me but i loved them right from the start. I admired how CVs were taking their story nice and slow but in these past two months, they just messed things up for me. Shilpa becoming another Riddhima with all those duppatta scenes, eyelocks, shyness etc etc. Where's the bold tigeress from june? And also the way they are shaping ArSh's lovestory is not working for me. Armaan is falling for Shilpa overnight. They haven't even reached friendship and shared a mutual understanding so love is just out of nowhere. It all just seems so rushed. That's the complaint I have with ArSh.

@Nikki: Hi Nikki, and thanks for the compliment.
You're right that Riddhima herself created those circumstances that made her marry Sid. It was she who cried rape and made a mockery of herself and her father in the whole hospital. She created the situation which caused her to marry Sid. However, it's not like she couldn't wait for Armaan but unintentionally she was the reason why her relationship with Armaan broke off.
Lol yes Balaji shows never go a girl as good as Shilpa but that really isn't the reason for moving on. The reason being as you yourself pointed out is that Armaan needs to live his life. He cannot waste it all away in Riddhima's memories.
Yup I know people don't want him moving on simply because of their love for their favourites. I can understand their pain and frustration because AR have been such a big part of DMG. But look AR were dealt a final blow when Riddhima chose to remain married to Sid even when Armaan was back. As an AR fan, that was it, and if I needed a final nail in the coffin then it was Armaan trying to unite SR. Ever since then Armaan's needed to move on. AR died a long time ago, and Armaan just needed to move on while keeping his memories intact.

Yes we do have a difference of opinion on quite a few things ever since Shilpa came back. And I know how frustrated and disappointed you are with the current track. I can understand because I have been an AR fan but I'm gonna repeat what I just said to Nikki. Look AR were over as soon as Riddhima chose to remain married to Sid even while Armaan was there. In a relationship there are two people, and since Riddhima moved on, is Armaan supposed to become some Devdas for life?
And Shilpa will love him like never before. I'm sorry but I had issues with Riddhima on this because she never understood Armaan, something that Shilpa does. So I see the ArSh story as much better than AR's.
Also Shilpa is a character, it's not Shilpa, Sukirti or Jennifer. Although I know what you're trying to egt at. From a technical point of view, while KaSh is ArSh, AR can't happen.

@Amber: Agreed because I was quite 'shocked' myself to see that scene. BUT he's been having some special moments with Shilpa for a long time now. The only difference is that we've always seen Shilpa's perspective on all those ArSh scenes. We never got to know how Armaan was feeling so while it seems all of a sudden right now. It may not be.
Yes I along with many others as Anku has said wanted a friendship track, and maybe we can get that after the whole marriage and Shilpa's past being revealed. Look Shilpa already understands Armaan but Shilpa is somewhat of a mystery to Armaan still because he doesn't know about her past. Once that is revealed, I can only hope we see some great scenes of these two bonding over their pain and just being there for each other.
About the whole Riddhima and Shilpa bit. I think he's in a very confused sort of state right now. He loves Riddhima but he's developing these feelings for Shilpa as well. But you cannot say that his feelings for Shilpa are in any way as strong as the ones for Riddhima. ArSh will take time, and this is just the beginning.

You know what? It does seem a bit cruel to expect him to suffer forever just so he's always in love with Riddhima. Life is about moving on and surpassing challenges then why should Armaan be a loser?
I also think that everything has taken its time because he's had alot of time to get over Riddhima and right now he's just beginning to feel for Shilpa. It's not as though he loves her.
Also I loved what you said here, it's very beautiful: "It is actually beautiful to watch how you give up hope in life, how you think you will never be the same again and then when something starts happening and before you realize, you have already surrendered yourself to the process of healing. "

@Nikki_C: Hey I too miss the bold tigress but I think Shilpa's feelings for Armaan have mellowed her down alot. Plus on top of that, I think this is her true inner self. Nonethelss I'd rather see her as the bold tigress than this seedhi saadhi girl. About those dupattas and eyelocks, well those are an Indian tv stereotype not a Riddhima exclusive.
Yes I also want a mutual understanding for ArSh and I really think we'll get that once Armaan learns about her past...but Shilpa does understand Armaan. Also Armaan doesn't love her yet...he's just beginning to fall for her.

@aishu_25: Thanks and I don't want to see him sad either. Also Armaan didn't think about her for the first time. In the previous day's episode he also thought about her while taking a shower.

Of course he needs to move on beacsue as you said Riddhima has moved on, so he just cannot be a devdas his whole life. And yes Shilpa is perfect for him because at least she understands him, unlike Riddhima.
