I love this show
Yeah but she should have contacted a person who is in that line of field like you to get a better understanding of it instead of googling it and misinterpreting it na <3
to be honest I havent been watching DMG for couple of weeks now due to finals and stuff ...so have no idea what the heck is going on right now...I heard that divorce is going on or something... BUT I do know this that dont do blaming just Armaan...Sid is equally responsible....if Armaan played around with rape then Sid played around with invasion of privacy (pics)/ molestation (both times it was Riddhima's misunderstanding OR she just wanted to teach them a lesson)...if Armaan abused Ridhima...so did Sid ...so both of them are equally guilty of messing with Ridhima's head and mental state🤪and as someone else pointed it out that whole Panchgini sequence was filled with WTH moments and When have we EVER seen a single episode just centering on a patient rather than the crazy randomness going on in DMG ...so technically the entire Sanjeevnai staff needs their licences taken awayForget about violating the rules, Tani. They don't WORK. As I said, Sid & Riddhima were moping around, while Armaan was working. :) Yes he was crying too.. BUT STILL WORKING. :)
LMFAO Sahar. Don't jynx it. Watch me fail at being a lawyer now. LOL.
LMAO. Damn, I guess you're right. 🤔
I hope topic-maker reads all the posts/points we put forward. Hopefully it will turn into a healthy discussion if needed.
I shall quit spamming also. :)
😆 Well just b/c people love this show and come on the forum and are AR/KSG/KaJen/KaSh/KaSu fans and are totally obsessed...doesn't mean they don't have a life and they are on the forum 24/7 😃LMAO Rabia. I don't think anyone would believe you're a med student. I read somewhere how ARians and KSGians are illiterate no lifers. We can't go far in life. LOL.

All I am going to say is this oath is taken by the medical students and "Practicing" Doctors! It's commendable that you went to such lengths in explaining and spreading knowledge about what the Oath stands for but at the same time you should also know when and how this Oath is applicable on a "doctor"
The Oath Clearly says "Do No Harm"
The Oath under no circumstances tells a NON-Practicing Doctor or a Doctor lacking competence at the moment to treat a patient. It was told in the show that Armaan was in a Psychiatric Facility. He might have had the ability to take the payal and kangan off of Riddhima but he did not necessarily have the mental stability and competence that a doctor should have to treat his patient..
According to AMA's Policy "E-10.05 Potential Patients"
(3) In situations not covered above (listed in the policy), it may be ethically permissible for physicians to decline a potential patient when:
(a) The treatment request is beyond the physician's current competence.
For further information you can log on to http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/physician-resources/medical-ethics/code-medical-ethics/frequently-asked-questions.shtml
Be reminded that Hippocratic Oath might be the same universally but there are many legal aspects attached to it that are internationally variable.
Even if we look at Legal and Ethical aspects of AMA's policies, there are a lot of sections and subsections that you'll find which underline the situations under which a "Practicing and Non-Practicing" Physicians can perform their duty of Do No Harm
If you are still not satisfied, then I suggest you call the Cvs of the show and find out if they even know about the Hippocratic Oath and it's Ethics! 😊
On a lighter note, nowhere in the Hippocratic Oath AMA and I am pretty sure even the IMA (Indian Medical Association) will it say that after a "Practicing Doctor" treats a patient of hypothermia with body heat (a last resource medical procedure for Hypothermia patients..) he should go on and marry her! 😉
No offence intended! 😃
I would buy this explanation of yours (I may still do, a bit of it), but I find it extremely tuff to believe that he was mentally unstable when three weeks later he was rocking at concerts to find a cure for cancer....oops I mean psychotic illness. It doesn't make a difference anyways...cancer, hypothermia, Alzheimer's, they are all the same in CMG. Anyways, it really would be a miracle for him to get treated in a span of three weeks and conveniently go on a world tour for awareness purposes during that time. Was he in emotional turmoil? Yes, I believe that, and hence he left a letter for his ex - fiance who was laying unconsciously on the floor. Earlier I said as well, with or without the oath, just as a human being, he should have at least checked her state before deserting her but maybe his own state of mind couldn't handle the trauma of witnessing his lover again. Also somewhere someone said that he had noticed Siddhanth with Riddhima, thus he conveniently left her unconscious and numb in hopes for Sid to recover her. The point is that he left her, and I do not believe his mental state was incompetent to treat a patient. It seems eerie to know just in three weeks, he was able to self heal his psychotic illness, and even arrange a tour for that cause.
Sid was suppose to be the hero? Erm. Well he is regardless of Armaan, but then why would KSG state that his return was planned by the CVs before his infamous exit from September? Don't tell me he lies too now. Examining that statement of his, the CVs then should not have portrayed Armaan as a selfish prick. Tsk. Tsk.
On a lighter note, no where did the 'Practicing Doctor' after treating the patient with body heat due to hypothermia force her to marry him due to that incident. Our vulnerable Riddhima first accused him of rape as she wasn't aware of the concept of body heat, thus complications rose for her. Not the other way your mentioned. Last but not the least, she chose to marry him in such a hurry, because as far as I recall, her father and Siddhanth had questioned her hasty decision but she decided to nod and smile thru the plan.
I do still buy the trauma explanation by aangelis....it seems the most appropriate in this case and doesn't let Armaan appear as a total jerk, so all's well.
wow ..its endless what google can do.
anyways me agree fary!
YEPPP if oath is that darn important then Shanky Panks should be questioned for letting go Armaan🤔
I agree Armaan does more work than any other doctor there! So yeah <3
