The Hippocratic Oath and Sanjeevani Docs

Ok so i was watching 3 idiots and also some old SRA scenes and it hit me hey what about Armaan's Hi[pocratic oath?
Many of you might not know what a Hippocratic oath is so let me tell you. it is basically an oath taken by medical students/doctors that they will do their best to help a patient who is in need of help under any circumstances.
Now this brings me back to the panchgani times. hmm so armaan basically went totally against his oath and insulted his profession by leaving Riddhima Dying in cold. Sure i understand he did all this for her"happiness" he didn't wanted her to see him because than it would've been harder for her to let him go and bla bla u all know what, But the least he could've done was to arrange for help. I am not saying that he should've stayed as he had his reasons but keeping his Oath in mind he could've asked the gaoonwalas to help her as she was sick and was dying. than the gaoonwalas could've arranged for a doctor or whatever. than he would'nt had insulted his profession by leaving a patient in need of help so helplessly. Oh & besides he had every reason to save riddhima she was his life or still is as he says but what did he do left her DYING in cold instead of helping her
While on the other hand Sid had ABSOLUTLY No Reason to help her and save her from dying. As we all know they hated each other ,they wanted to kill each other, Still, he went ahead with what he did only because he thought he's a doctor and can't let her die in front of him so helplessly. He knew she's going to hate him forever if he's gonna go ahead with what atul suggested . He knew she'll not understand the reason. He was hesitant as hell to do it as it was against his morals and ethics. That's not what his teachings were but all he thought was mujhe nahi pata tum kia samjhogi mere baare main but ek doctor ke naate se mera faraz hai tumhari jaan bachana & this is the only way i can do it. and as expected she sure hated him but atleast he didn't insulted his profession at the end of it.

The following inputs are made by my friend arp m just gonna add them here basically the oath word to word with sid's explanation .

"I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures [that] are required"

Sid did everything in his power to make sure Ridz was going to make it through the night and that ordeal. He even went as far as to try to walk back to where they were originally, but the weather wouldn't permit so he had no choice but to stay in the hut and do what he could there. And he systematically tried everything b4 he took the step toward using his body heat. (and he def thought about whether it was good or not and he knew the consequences weren't going to be all flowers and thank you cards and still he did what he needed to do as a doctor first, and as a friend second)

'I will not be ashamed to say "I know not," nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient's recovery.'

Sid defintily did this. He knew he was in over his head and so he did what the oath said, he called Atul and asked Atul what to do. He then proceeded to do all of Atul's suggestions…but when all those didn't work he did the one that he knew wouldn't bode well for him in the end…he did the last of Atul's suggestions he used his body heat even though he knew it wouldn't bode well (Btw body heat is actually one of the most successful ways to treat hypothermia especially in non hospital settings…and no you cant have all your clothes on and use it cuz they are wet (thus it defeats the purpose)

'I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug'

I think what Sid did in that hut was way beyond a surgeons knife or a chemists drug…he did what was expected of him as human…he used his skill and knowledge to the best of his ability to save Ridz's life. He definitely used sympathy and understanding when he made the decision to do all he could to save her life. He knew the outcome could end in a very bad mess…but to him the life of a human was worth any pain or thapads that were on their way (little did he kno the full extent of pain headed his way lol)

"Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty…"

I don't really think I have to write anything…Sid did treat this matter with care (if one listens to the thoughts running through is head during the whole scenario)...he knew his frailty and thus he consulted help via phone

So I guess what I'm tryin to say is that by abandoning Ridz in the cabin that day Armaan not only abandoned his love but his stethoscope. He failed to fulfill his duty of a caring lover and he definitely failed his duties as a caring physician. I feel as though that was the beginning of the death of Ridz the basket and that it was on the day of her wedding when she committed suicide that basket Ridz truly left this world.

On the other hand Sid acted as a humane doctor and friend when he went to save Ridz's life and this is just one of many times he came to her rescue once she was abandoned by Armaan. He was the hand that leant warmth to her when she was cold, he was the one that pushed her out of the way of a moving vehicle set on killing her, he was the one that took on the burden of saving her life when she committed suicide…and then he was the one that slowly brought her back to life…thus I believe that the Ridz before us now belongs no only with Sid…but to…Sid…(if either of them ever make use of their fancy phones and communicate)

Now i was watching 3 idiots and here they also focused on the importance of Hippocratic oath where bebo says that is hippocratic oath ne doctoron ki waat laga di.
You just cannot break the oath like this aapka dushman bhi aapke samne ho ntrouble toh you try to help than hamare haan toh yeh bhi kehte hai ke allah dushman ke saath bhi aisa na kare if something bad happens than as we all know and claim riddhima to Armaan ki apni thia na than why did he do that and even after that some of you want her to go back to armaan 👏. the man not only insulted his profession but also proved that Riddhima is nothign for her otherwise why would he leave her Dying without any help?

That's common knowledge, but the topic maker did define the gist of it.
On a credible website (not Wikipedia), the definition of it is as followed:
Hippocratic Oath: One of the oldest binding documents in history, the Oath written by Hippocrates is still held sacred by physicians: to treat the ill to the best of one's ability, to preserve a patient's privacy, to teach the secrets of medicine to the next generation, and so on.
The bold part is relevant to Ammy doc.😊
So what's your point again? 😆😆😆 To point out the spelling error? 😛

😆 i mean it is possible to diagnose hypothermia by looking...but it has to be severe...however
you can diagnose by feeling the skin of the patient (which he had to do to remove the jewelry) and also the pupils (but thts to technical i guess for DMG)
