That is where Armaan's fault lies. He never checked whether Ridz would be ok or not. He felt that if he would leave her she would gladly accept his decision which shows he never really understood her.

As far as Edward is concerned, we can justify him being a far superior character than Armaan but we cannot do so the other way round.

Just by saying Armaan is better does not prove anything. You should also have solid reasons to justify your point, you know.

SEE......i'll explain....the positions are different but the characters are similar.....u know.....like armaan's nature is like jake's....and sid's nature is like edward's.....but A-R and EdwElla are meant to be....'true lovers'....'first love'.....plus jake and sid became friends with bella/riddhima when the 'true love' had left her for HER sake....u know.....but they're bound to get their true love sometime or the other.....like jake got nessie....sid will also get someone.....the positions...conditions have changed.....that's it....PHEW!!!

see....even edward hadn't checked on bella....it was only bella's hallucinations....somewhat like the flashbacks we saw when ridz came back......edward was planning to come back(coz he knew that bella is alive...)....armaan decided to come back(WHEN he came to know that ridz is alive...).....both of them are the truest of true lovers.....i love them both EQUALLY!!!!!

See this is how I see it.....

Armaan = Edward

Riddima= Bella

Sid= Jacob

Armaan and Riddima are meant to be..... just like Edward and Bella....And Sid aka Jacob is just a friend who has been there for Ridz aka Bella when she needed him....hence they just have intense feelings for each other......i.e they like each other it's not love......

in twilight......bella also loved JACOB..........but SHE isn't married with jacob....
and armaan isn't like EDWARD.........and RIDDHIMA is far away from bella..........

First of alI..... did not think i'd get this many comments...so thank you all for particpating in this discussion......

Secondly, I'd like to to give all DMGians a round of 👏👏👏 as we havn't got any warnings yet...🥳

Thirdly some people are claiming that the compariosn isn't valid here and actually explained their points which I was more than happy to read...

but few felt the need to explictitly point this out with no justification but to disrupt the peaceful nature of this discussion.... why do you even bother....

and yes I know that Bella and Jacob were not married......some aspects of the characters are similar...that is what we are discussing here...most people are aware of the obvious differences........

Now all ur viewpoints have been very interesting....and Sidma fans have made some valid points which i agree with..... eg when comparing Sid and Edward.....*peace*...lol...

But...

* Bella knew that she couldn't live without Edward even though she had some feelings for Jacob and Riddhima said she cannot live without Armaan when she was about to drink poison. The only reason she is still in this marriage is because of anger towards Armaan.

* Sid is understanding of Ridz situation.... so is Armaan he isn't forcing her to leave Sid..... if anything he is actually planning on leaving again so she could be happy with sid...

* some argued that even when Ridz overcame the mariage barrier..she was still confused as to who to choose.... that's because she does want Armaan... but she also feels GUILTY coz she doesn't want to hurt Sid...

* in yesterdays epi Ridz said that when she first saw Armaan...she was worried about how sid was gna feel and didn't want him to be saddened....that's coz S and R do share a bond...*not of the romantic love type though*...

* some are arguing that Armaan felt that if he left ridz she would gladly accept his decision which shows he never really understood her. Obviously he didn't think that... at that time he didn't want to burden her with his mental insatbility so he left her knowing that this abandonment will still hurt hurt her.....

*phew*......

guys seriously why destroy edwards character for me by comparing him to armaan . Jacob isnt sid and belle certainly aint ridz this is a medica drama not a supernatural one. Edward cnt be compared.
