There's two threads for promos - bec of the two groups on the forum.. one happily wants to chat abt one aspect on the promo without being over shadowed and vice versa.

I have a question again about new ATs rules which have been communicated to us by out AT in charge ... again i know nothing positive will come out of it but what is wrong is wrong and should be pointed out.

New rules mean ATs are turned into bashing threads ... you say bashing Raghav in Viraj At is allowed but bashing HC is not ... why should bashing Raghav be allowed at a place that is meant to appreciate Viraj? Similarly why should bashing viraj be allowed at a place that is meant to appreciate Raghav?

Secondly you people have made them no entry zones ... how would we know if Raghav is bashed and not HC? We don't trust the in charge of AT s to be fair because they are fans of a certain actor and we already know what all they have said about Harshad on this very forum and Raghav's entry in the show, how can we trust them?

We were told by Skylight in out AT we are not allowed to discuss viraj and we don't since ... and we feel that is the right approach ... what is meant to appreciate should be for appreciation not bashing the other! Yet another unfair rule is made and we are forced to accept it ... its just not fair!!! Just because we keep following the rules does mean one unfair rule after another will be shoved down our throats!!! There is just no point bashing Raghav in viraj AT that is meant to appreciate him ... same goes for Raghav AT

And yea i know i will again get a long response telling me i am talking non sense and mods decide the rules and mods can't be critcized and all but what is wrong is wrong!!! Because we don't bash Viraj or KB in our AT but other group does and this will only give them a license to bash uninterrupted without any check since its no go area for us!!!

Is every rule on this forum meant to support only one fan group? Everyone knows we dont discuss viraj in our AT but virajian do discuss Raghav so make another rule to favor them wow!!!

And mind you if Viraj is a negative character in the show it is not our fault!!!

First things first, I would like to state that no rules for the AT threads have been set in place yet. We were merely discussing possibilities in amending the rules to make things easier for both AT's and the members who participate in them.

The DT is here to check up on the threads to make sure there is no bashing going on, its not necessary for other members to keep an eye out as we are here for this very purpose. We cannot have members eying the other AT and nitpicking at every little thing just to have something to report. Same goes for every AT thread.

No one here is saying that mods decide the rules and that mods cannot be criticized. But claiming that we are biased will not be tolerated as we are trying to make things better around here for everyone, not just one "fan group." We don't care who is in which fan group or is a fan or which character. We care about the things being done and said.

If we allow mentioning the rival character, it will obviously be allowed for both AT's, not just one.

Once again, I would just like to say that no rules had been put in place as of yet. There is no reason for this uproar. Also, I would like to say that if the DT members discussed something with a member and asked it to be kept private, we would like that to be followed and not leaked to other members before anything is even set. It makes it harder for us to trust members with what we are trying to do in the section and we will have to think a 100 times before we share anything again before putting it into place. We tried to get member input but it resulted in unnecessary uproars. If in the future we don't take member input, just remember that it is because certain members leak confidential information.

Ok when you are saying that members inputs are necessary, then why only 2-3 members of a certain fangroup? Isn't that wrong because, there are many others who contribute to each and every thread of the particular actro/character along wid their respective ATs?
And if the members are sharing the rules wid each other, or taking suggestions in consideration wid the current conditions of the forum, then what is a big deal in it?
That neither makes a member not trust worthy and nor he/she is trying to leak confidential information, because if he/she agrees for a particular rule without communicating with the fellow members of the fanclub, then later that single person would be blamed in future if the whole fanclub disagrees with the rules or denies to follow the rules.

The members that started the AT's were consulted to get an opinion on what they think.
I can understand why someone would leak information, but when the members that are told the information go ahead and create an uproar over rules that haven't even been decided on, that's a whole new issue that could have been avoided. We don't blame that person for getting further advice, but those that were told didn't have to leak anything before rules were decided on.

I am sorry jess but the rule allowing other characters to be discussed in AT is already in place and we did not even know about it ... we had got a warning in our AT sometime back that we should stick to only appreciating HC and not discuss other fans, actors/CHARACTERS ... we never did after that and when we were warned we believed it was a rule for everyone ... but in VIraj AT Raghav is discussed even in a negative way so when we complained we were told it is allowed!!! So that rule atleast is already in place and we were not even aware of it since we were told not to discuss either the other actor/CHARACTER in our AT ... so naturally it did upset us

Vandy and Soaps1, we have not put these rules up about allowing mentions of other characters. We have been brainstorming different ideas but we haven't made anything final yet. We do understand your concerns about this issue but as of now, the current AT rules are still to be followed :)

Why can't ATs discuss another character? As long as the actor isn't brought in, what's the problem?
