Its not about problem or no problem Aanchal its about targeted rules!!! Every thing HC fans started posting on this forum or posted more is banned ... even though it breaks no IF rules, is not insulting to anyone else, does not make fun of any other actor or character!!! That is the problem here ... but anyways I don't expect anything ... but I have a habit of saying what i feel ... as long as rules are there we would obviously obey them but that does not mean we can't object on them

I actually like the fact now that all the promos are in one thread. It helps a lot actually.

Also, don't think I should comment but whatever. It would be nice if this thread is just kept to posting anything related to the banner contest. This whole mod-questioning is tiring to read.

24. Telling others what to do: We would prefer members to stop preaching on the forum. Because there is now a designated DT for the forum, let the moderators decide what is needed on this forum and what is not or what one member is allowed to do or not. You cannot stop someone from posting in any topic. Any issues with any post, use the report button, and the matter will be looked into, but remember that the way the way the issue is resolved may not necessarily be in a way that you agree with.

Anyways i won't be posting here any more i said what i wanted to say and my intention was not to ruin the thread!!!

I was only speaking for the betterment of this thread Soaps. Afterall, it's a banner contest thread, not a mod-questioning thread.

Because honestly, I don't think I did anything wrong. The thread was getting off topic in the first place. I just wanted to bring it back to what this thread was initially intended for.

My dear trust me the DT isnt targeting any of the fangroups, if you see certain topics getting locked or receiving an warning that is because someone might have reported it and of course comparison topics/polls are not tolerated in any of the forums around IF :)

Picture should be posted in the appropriate threads, That picture gallery thread is not made an high priority topic for timepass purpose. We really appreciate the hardwork you put in posting all Raghav - Sia - Krish scenes, and there are 3 AT's which directly or indirectly is connected with HC.. so episodic pictures can go there in addition to picture gallery thread.. As far as your concern about the forum rules is concerned, well there must be some reason for which the CM has alloted the max number of MODS to this forum outta all Life Ok channels, this forum is not simple to lookafter as compared to the previous forums you've visited *you yourself admit that people here support the anti hero too, so the DT has to take diplomatic steps.. which sometime may/may not favor one fan group.. that doesnt make the DT members bias or something..please try to understand our situation too* :)

Well i dont know which DT member said MECHANIC thing is wrong, but i just wanna add a simple line to your concern.. Do you really think Mechanic of the week is the best choice??? I dont need the answer cuz i dont have any problems with it.. but still as you somehow in the previous pages indirectly agreed that show must focus on Jahnvi's struggles.. so it should've been an feminine centric title... but as the votes are in the favor of Mechanic.. we're all fine with it *everyone has a different choice, if somehow DT's choice doesnt matches with your choice does it mean that we are wrong?? You are free to raise your fingers at us only when we reject the elected title and force the MOTW Thread Maker to use our title*.. I hope it answers your frustration reg MOTW :)

Aanchal you are in DT and i can't start arguing with you here point by point (because then I will be told of violating rules) specially in this thread which is for banner contest. But the reasons you listed are the reasons given in rules thread already but many of us (its not just me) have problem with those rules as the explanation is not convincing and yes we did post our reservations in the promo thread nothing happened ... like i already said all the threads that we have been banned from posting on the forum are the ones that HC fans used to post ... I did not question the threads you people lock or warnings you give I was only pointing towards things banned on the forum as per rules ... what i stated is what many members of this forum feel that is all ... i don't expect any thing to come out of it but i believe if we have a problem its better to speak up then stay quiet ... I did what i thought was the right thing!

And its our respect for DT that makes us follow the rule, we don't agree with promo thread idea nor we like it but still ever since the thread is up none of us have made a separate promo thread (few members have but they are either not regulars or not Raghav/RaghavI fans) ... we are not violating rules but we do have problem with those rules and many members find them targeted. Disrespect to DT would be when we don't follow the rules, none of us has done that nor we will but that does not mean we accept the rules as fair

And check your last reply and tell me what is last paragraph of it? You told me not to preach rules but the member who actually violated the rule said nothing to her ... When i did not even teach her any rules as I was only talking to the mods ... I rest my case and I am out of here!!!

Ok, here is what I did, after we discussed this issue in the DT:

Most of the gripes you see above were originally posted in the Promo thread, and the Banner contest thread, but were not so much about them, but rather, your objections about the new policies being used in this forum. In the case of the banner thread, since it has been made public in the global banner announcement thread, it was important & urgent to move those posts out of there, so that's what I did.
I moved them into this thread, since we decided that it is a good idea to have a separate channel for your feedback, rather than you have to go off-topic on other threads.
Normally, attacking DT members is against the rules. However, in this thread, and this thread alone, we are relaxing it somewhat to give members the opportunity to raise their concerns about the forum, the rules, the promo thread, the captions threads or whatever. You are still not allowed to attack anyone, but this does give you an outlet to vent - we do value freedom of expression, even though unfortunately, we've had to dampen them due to the atmosphere created in this forum. You are also at liberty to disagree w/ our decisions, even though @ the end of the day, they still have to be followed. That way, you can post what you like in this thread, w/o having to hijack other threads. Easier for you, easier for us.
From now on, posts in other threads about how this forum is run will either be trashed (or moved here, @ the discretion of the DT). So far, I recognize that you didn't have an avenue like this. Now you do, so use it!
Aside from just your gripes, if you have suggestions about how you'd like the forum to be run, any relaxation/waivers to any of the rules, or other aspects of the forum, this is the place to do it.
