Very often, in most forums, people sometimes post questions @ random in the help desk or create new topics asking questions about the story. We therefore thought that a thread dedicated to just that - 'The story so far' - would help anyone new to the forum to come up to speed quickly. At the moment, the DT is working on it and has published the first chapter. We are breaking the whole thing up into chapters, w/ each chapter ending in a watershed event. Generally all such things gets their place in Archive Mansion

The archive mansion is more of a 'Table of contents', if you will. It has links to all the interesting threads in the forum, from ATs to various competitions and so on. I'd have to look there to see if they have a character profile or not of the show, and it might be one more of our activities if it ain't there already.

Having said all that, not all archive mansions contain it, and so we decided that it would be useful to have a separate Story so far thread, so that newcomers to the forum, or even people who have missed a whole stretch of the episodes, can read all that and get back up to speed very quickly. No need to ask basic questions - one can just ask follow-up questions discussing the story itself, maybe in the weekly EDTs.

I mean Archive Mansion is for such stuffs only like activities in forum/ Character Sketch of characters/ Story of the show/ Events, Segments updates

And why article archive is not in mandatory topics?

Good point. Currently, we do have a rather large list of 'Announcement topics', but I agree that the Articles Archive should be there. One constraint that we have is that when a page has too many announcements & stickies, it looks rather unseemly, and moderators don't like it (as a viewbie, I've been told in the past to unglue stuff). But you're right - Articles Archive does belong there.

That is one important section for anyone to keep track of all the articles

Promo... like i said before, use that promo thread, cuz that practice was successful at some other forum.. that can be modified in the near future if it .. gushing post... APPRECIATION THREADS are meant for what??? If there is some significant change in the looks/costumes then you can surely create a new topic.. but posting a new topic on dailybasis *more or less on the same topic* isnt acceptable.. Viraj and Raghav both are equal for us...so dont think that we're against HC and his fans :) Try to post innovative threads regularly :) I did not question the threads you people lock or warnings you give I was only pointing towards things banned on the forum as per rules ... what i stated is what many members of this forum feel that is all ... i don't expect any thing to come out of it but i believe if we have a problem its better to speak up then stay quiet ... And its our respect for DT that makes us follow the rule, we don't agree with promo thread idea nor we like it but still ever since the thread is up none of us have made a separate promo thread (few members have but they are either not regulars or not Raghav/RaghavI fans) ... we are not violating rules but we do have problem with those rules and many members find them targeted. Disrespect to DT would be when we don't follow the rules, none of us has done that nor we will but that does not mean we accept the rules as fair

We really appreciate the maturity each one of you have shown towards the rules

And check your last reply and tell me what is last paragraph of it? You told me not to preach rules but the member who actually violated the rule said nothing to her ... When i did not even teach her any rules as I was only talking to the mods ... I rest my case and I am out of here!!!
