This post was a good one from vandy, and i felt it could go in a nice pattern, but unfortunately, like usual posts, this post also got ruined.
People who can justify Viraaj and think he can gain sympathy should have opened a separate topic and have discussed it there, what was the need of ruining this post?
And comparing Raghav with Viraaj and declaring them to have similarities would just be an insult to the writers of the respective characters, because the writers very well took care that they can portray both the characters exactly opposite of each other, so their is no valid point in arguing on it.

But seeing that I already wrote a debate on something similar, I'll keep it short.
It is clear that while CVs managed to maintain a grey character in the earlier days of the show, Viraj turned more and more towards the dark side as the scope of those affected by his deeds increased relentlessly and so did the atrocity of his actions - he lost all control of what kind of pain he was inflicting and on whom and that to me is unredeemable.
I guess they've realized now that Viraj has gone to the dark side completely and they are trying to shift him back to grey with both the viewers as well as Janvi. But I just want to say one thing, if his amnesia turns out to somehow be real although I highly doubt that, and Janvi sympathizes with him, I'm sorry but neither Janvi will gain my sympathy nor Viraj.

And to wrap it up, no I never try to put down Viraj because I know for someone to become what he is, they must have endured something terrible themselves. I just hate to see that he had a caring family, he had Janvi, he had his mother -- all these people who understood that something was wrong with him and they forgave him for his actions because they knew he needed treatment but he STILL didn't accept their help and succumbed to his dark side. That, to me, is what made him evil. The fact that he knows he needs help but turns it down repeatedly.

Word, Rova.
Plus, I've reached a point where -- if Jahnvi sympathizes with him -- I'd almost feel that she deserves to be dragged back into hell and experience it all one more time in order to understand her gravest mistake... sympathizing with the devil.

How does a post get ruined just because some people expressed some opinions? Amazing. A topic that mentions mentions Viraj in its title shouldn't be visited by Viraj fans. How nice!

People only said that they're similar in that they both have a lot of anger, otherwise they're completely opposite.
One does good one does bad.

People always have one thing that is similar to someone else, it doesn't mean people think Raghav is the same as Viraj, I don't think anyone is stupid enough to think that.

I think both sides are misunderstanding each other.

Yeah well, I don't find crticaleyes' post provocative. If people have an issue with some comments, they can counter it. And plenty did. As for convincing us, the point is to put forth one's one's views and opinions and discuss and/or counter with others. It's not about convincing, and so the debate didn't get 'ruined' just because some posted certain thoughts. You may think it's crap which many wrote in this topic, but that still doesn't ruin a debate or make them provocative comments.

it doesn't take much effort for me to reply. So no worries. 😃

The purpose of this thread is to discuss about Viraj's current situation and its side effects.
Please dont target any of the individual comments under this thread cuz everyone has the right to express their POV provided its not against the rules :)
