Why isn't all these things hashed out during the contract signing phase? Didn't the makers know this is one show where script demand of a kissing scene could be justified? There is no way they could have shown those typical intimate scene with song sequences in this show, because it wouldn't fit in where the two people are trying to resist their feelings yet give into it impulsively. I don't know why kissing scene is such a big deal on television when there are a lot more intimate scenes which are shown. Those really close and intimate scenes are more uncomfortable and articles are written about them as well. Anyways, let's see what the makers do with Rehaan and Ahana's relationship given there's not much time left.

To perform a kissing scene you need to have a different kind of comfort level with the actor... Hence I reckon Smriti might not be as comfortable with Aashim as of yet. Yeah but I agree they should mention everything clearly in the contract beforehand..And also looking at the changing times the actors need to be mentally prepared to face such scenes in the future.

i think it is more about how one feels personally than the equation with the costar. Parth and niti did 2 real liplocks on kaisi ye yaariyan and offscreen they dont meet eye to eye. watching their ivs were more awkward than watching their intimate scenes😆. Niti neither looks or behaves like someone who is ready to do that much intimate scenes. That show had more intimate scenes than all the other serials combined.

Here smriti seems to be in a good terms with aashim. If nothing they surely seems to be on good professional relation. She simply might not be comfortable to do that much intimate scene considering the way channel asked to change her dressing which indicates audience were not happy with her wardrobe. May be her family wont approve of her doing kissing scenes. She once said in an iv how uncomfortable her father was watching her romance sanjay kapoor. It pretty obvious rehaan ahana will have hotter scenes and they have better chemistry
