i think turkey is not a very conservative society and they are very modern. They are a mix of middle east and western society.
I think smriti refused to do kissing scene at this point of time since they are still promoting the show with anant and ahana and it will surely bring unwanted media attention if they show rehaana kissing. Forget being an adaptation of ask-i-memnu, vikram bhatt is the creative head and kissing scenes are an essential part in bhatt movies. So even without reading the script you can expect a kissing sceneš
