Somewhere I feel, Vikrant is Geeta-VP's son & Ricky's younger brother biologically. Since someone today said, that everyone will be shocked to hear the actual truth of the day. And Vikrant said that he doesn't have a father.
Here is what I feel must have happened-
Gita was doing some job to handle the household from her end. She was favored by her boss because of her work or even beauty. VP must have become suspicious of her meanwhile she got pregnant with VP's child. But VP didn't believe her & once fed up, she left him or she was made to leave him for some reason by an external force who didn't want to see them together.
Ricky was led to believe whatever VP said from that day about his birth mother, just like in Kitni Mohabbat Hai.
